This place is so good! Please don’t sleep on this place! I actually went to Mexico last summer with my friend and these tortas and sopes taste like the real thing! They have the BEST birria tacos also! I had to show my mom this place and she got sopes. Noting bad to say. Friendly staff snd DELICIOUS food. Love HP taco shop!!

Hands down the best carne asada tacos I have had in the state of NC and the BEST pizza birria I have ever had in my 29 years of living. Cooked very well and the beef broth is well made and SOOOO DELICIOUS. This is my new taco spot in the whole state of NC.

First time here, but not the last!! I found this place on Tik Tok and it did not disappoint, the best ceviche con camarones I’ve had so far. We also ordered street tacos, asada, pastór and chorizo. All were amazing, extremely authentic as the pastór meat was cooked on a trompa…. The Chori queso dip was amazing and went fast. They have the best horchata I’ve had in a restaurant so far.
The staff was extremely helpful, patient and knowledge of the menu, the dining room was clean and inviting.
Highly recommend giving them a try.

My friend and I together drove an hour and a half to try this place out, we saw their post about Torta Ahogada & Tacos al pastor, as foodies, we just HAD to check it out.
Torta- If you’ve been to Guadalajara you know the bread is special, this one was regular bread however, the carnitas inside had great flavor and the portion was great! The tomato sauce was decent and the spicy one, whew! Was fire! True Ahogada style.
Tacos al Pastor- Flavorful and the pieces of pineapple gave it a nice touch. Authentic for sure.
We also tried the Taco Birrias, they were well served, plenty of meat. Worth the price, not as flavorful as the other two dishes.
Jamaica was delicious and the horchata was just ok.
Owner was very friendly. We will be back!

As you’ll see, I do frequent your establishment. I’ve grown fond of your food. However, tonight‘s order was not up to par as it is usually.
I may have gotten the time frames wrong on your establishment and how long you’ve been open, but I know personally what to expect and tonight did not meet expectations. $14 for 4 tacos

Wonderful tacos! I came here for the California Burrito (SoCal Burrito) and it did not disappoint. A real California Burrito has FRENCH FRIES! Thank you! 🙂 I lived in Vegas for 10 years, and this is the closest thing to Roberto’s Taco Shop I’ve had in North Carolina. The place was clean and employees were nice. They also have Carne Asada fries on the menu! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu.

I had the steak in a taco one time and it was fine. according to my staff, its hit or miss both of them have had to take their food back for being cold. Excuses were made as to maybe its just cold outside. Im reviewing because I had more than 3 customers walk into my Apothecary right next door and give complaints. Just know that It might be good one time and your next visit might differ.
