First time in Sedona and after looking around for a lunch spot, we decided on HP. Wasn’t crowded and we were immediately seated. We chose outside seating and it was perfect. Our very pleasant waitress got our drink order quickly and we soon ordered our meals. Wife got the goat cheese stuffed potabella mushroom burger with a micro greens salad. She ate every single bite and said it was delicious. I ordered the steak, shrimp and fries appetizer (was truly a complete meal) and omg it was great. Had avocado and a special spicy sauce. It’s a pricey place but I’m guessing everything in that town is. Would probably order the same thing again!!

I stopped in at HP American Bistro while visiting Sedona. The atmosphere is definitely a highlight—cozy café feel with a charming patio and even a little waterfall in the back that makes for a relaxing setting. The service was friendly and attentive, which added to the experience.

The food was good but not outstanding for the price. Dishes like the bourbon French toast and breakfast burrito were tasty, but portion sizes felt on the smaller side compared to what you pay. Our bill for breakfast for four came out to around $130 before tip, which felt steep for what we ordered.

Overall, this is a nice spot for breakfast or brunch if you want a relaxed environment and don’t mind paying Sedona-level prices. But if you’re watching your budget or want bigger portions for the cost, you might feel it’s a bit overpriced. Parking around the area is tough.

HP is located on the main tourist strip of Sedona. It’s easy to casually walk by and miss a good restaurant experience. The interior look of the restaurant and its menu presents an upscale Mexican food feeling. We popped in during happy hour and enjoyed the Magaritas. The guacamole was fresh and made in front of us. I decided to have the steak burger, and it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. You can tell a premium cut of meat was ground and put together to deliver a thick, juicy burger. The outdoor patio area was clean, and the water fountain feature provided a nice calm background ambiance. We enjoy HP and will be back.

A lovely restaurant with nice decor. Love the hidden door restrooms which were spotless. Comfy seating and wonderful staff! We had the fish tacos, steak and cheese smothered french fries and a prickly pear margarita for lunch! Food was served hot, delicious and with a pleasant smile! We are definitely coming back when in Sedona again!

The Crusted Bourbon Peach American Toast is one of my favorite things in Sedona. (Maybe Arizona in general.) I get cravings for it!! This was my 2nd time having it. The peaches were more cooked this time (Turns out I prefer them less cooked so they taste more peachy) but holy moly was it fabulous!! Idk that I can ever NOT get that dish. The “regular” French toast was good, too, but…absolutely nothing like the deliciousness I enjoy. Texas toast French toast, but crunchy from the coating, layered with caramel and sautéed peaches. And whip cream. I didn’t order bacon this time (the very kind server asked me if I wanted any) and I regretted it. Ha Last time it was perfectly cooked…and paired with the peaches and caramel bites it was a perfect meal. I really hope this place has THE MOST success because I need that American Toast in my life!!! I can’t wait to go back. I will 100% plan a trip around this meal!

My mom and I ate here for breakfast today and it was so amazing! I ordered an omelette with bacon and cheddar and home fries with a side of wheat toast. I also got a latte. My mom is vegan and she got the avocado toast with no egg and home fries. We both loved our food and our waitress Terri was so sweet she even put my food in my to go box for me. If you’re looking for a yummy breakfast spot with wonderful staff in Sedona this is the place!

The food was good but definitely not worth the price. The server was personable but again no one checked on after food was dropped. The Peach Toast was heavy on the caramel and light on the peaches and peach flavor. The Bloody Mary was okay but tasted like tomato juice with no alcohol or other flavors than tomato. The simply complete was good but over priced. A meal and a drink ran us $40 for okay food.

They have a service charge for credit cards.

We enjoyed a delicious breakfast here on a beautiful morning in Sedona. Definitely try to sit out in their back patio. We were able to have our dog with us out there so it was super nice. The waterfall is a bonus as you enjoy the peacefulness and tranquility. Service was good and the food was delicious. Check out the bathrooms if you can find the hidden doors.

We came in for breakfast, the food was amazing and the coffee was just right. Our waitress, Maria, was super friendly, sweet and gave us great recommendations on the menu. The peach French toast was soooo good. We loved the place, we sat outside and the views of the mountains while having your breakfast makes it the perfect morning. Highly recommended and I will definitely be coming back next time we visit. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
