This is convienently located in the hotel we stayed in over the weekend. We were immediately greeted by our server. We opted for a high top by the window looking out to the street. Our server was great, she spoke well and explained the menu with her recommendations. The only thing the bar staff fell short was 15 minute wait for 2 margaritas. Worse part, was seeing those who sat after us get their drinks first. Other than that, food and server were great.

Everything was “ok”. Nothing spectacular.

I stayed at the adjacent hotel the Royal Sonesta and ordered take out. It was difficult to order take out—the online menu did not match the in person menu.

The food estimated time for pick up was 20 minutes from ordering. When I arrived 20 minutes later they said it was still being made. I stepped away for 10 minutes and came back and it was done.

The food itself was ok. I ordered the caesar salad and the lobster mac and cheese using the $10 per day food credit. The salad was ok. The mac and cheese had noticeable shells and very minimal lobster (1 jumbo lump, a few smaller bits). If it weren’t for the discount I would have gone somewhere else.

The ambiance in the dining area was somber. The music was low enough to hear patrons but between the family of four and the single person eating, you could hear a pin drop.

Was checking out of my hotel and needed to grab a quick bite to eat and conveniently Hoyt’s is right there connected to the hotel. A great spot with good food that hit spot and was satisfying.

Environment
Hoyt’s is connected to the Royal Sonesta. It’s a beautiful clean space with a bar in the center of the space and seated dining around it. I went during lunch on a weekday so it was pretty quiet, which I love.

Service
Service was great. I sat at the bar and the bartender served me. He was amazing and very attentive and polite. Great service and hospitality. Really enjoyed him. The food came out quickly and was perfect.

Food and drinks
I kept it simple and had the cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. It was a really good burger. Juicy and tasty and it’s hard to go wrong with sweet potato fries.

Overall
Really great place to stop by for dinner. I would definitely come back for the solid burger or try other things on the menu. I would for sure come back for a drink.

The location has nice views of the city. If you are staying at the Sonesta hotel not a bad option to eat here. We had breakfast and the options were simple. food was ok nothing overly exciting, my eggs were over cooked. Not a place to go out of your way to eat at, but if you’re looking for something quick easy, this place could work. Eating outdoors is nice if checkin at hotel is not busy because the line for drop off is right in front of the tables.

Nice location, but the food was cold and took too long for being pre-made. French toast was 2 basic pcs of white bread. Potato side was just disappointing, cold and barely any served in the portion. Would not return. The only good thing was that the cappuccino was tasty.

This place is located in our hotel. We decided to grab a quick dinner there. The place was empty, I have no idea why??? The food was delicious! We had the Caesar salad and the steak sandwich with sweet potato fries. Everything tasted great. Our server was friendly, the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Small menu but a good variety.

Nice bartender and great big bar with many guests from out of town. We enjoyed the angus burger with beer braised onions and smoked gouda, it was delicious. Also had a mojito and bloody Mary. There is great outdoor seating with great people watching to be had.

A bit disappointing foodwise! Very nice staff, nice interior, modern design, many alcoholic beverage options, with a few food choices. They would count as a great bar, but fall short of a restaurant. The few food options are over-priced & underwhelming. Their dishes have only fancy names & under-deliver. Recommend for a bar, & maybe a snack, but not for food.

The bartender and manager were very friendly and knowledgeable. The pizza came out fast and was quite good, better than expected. The drinks were fantastic and getting to know the history of the drinks I enjoy only served to elevate the overall experience. There are negative reviews but they did not represent my experience.

Expensive both times I have gone. Second time it seemed lime there were not enough people working and the menu was limited. My sandwich must have been under the heating lamp for awhile because the bread was hard. Additionally the lettuce on my sandwich was quite brown. The arugula salad was just warm arugula and some lemon dressing on the plate.
