Went to dine after getting in town for Red Knights Motorcycle Stampede. Never been before, but was everything other reviews complimented about. Service was great, mixed drinks were great, my bacon cheeseburger and homemade fries were tops. Enjoying the atmosphere with old relics on the walls, karaoke provided some great talented singers. I believe our whole group of twenty or more truly rated this location tops in places to dine in Kerrville !!!!

We stopped because we were looking at the devastation the floods in the Hill Country had left. Howdy’s had been flooded to the 2nd floor. They had redone it very well. The service was excellent and the food was very good. I had Mexican food and my husband had chicken fried chicken. I recommend stopping by. There are a number of places to choose to eat at Howdy’s.

I went to try out the Fry chicken, which is only available on Sundays. In my opinion not worth the money. It did have good flavor but the portion size was rather small. The dish came with a biscuit and gravy, mac n cheese and and one more side. I chose fries.

Family friendly environment with pool tables, live music and delicious eats (we got the pizza, chicken tenders and tacos + drinks)! We had a fantastic time … bartender was very kind to our kiddos, attentive to our orders and made the whole experience amazing! Definitely recommend!

OH MY GOODNESS… This place is a Hidden Gem… We were making fun on the way that we were going to someone’s house to eat and then There it was… On the River even… We had the burnt end appetizer… SO Good I took another order home… I had the meatloaf and mashed potatoes… DELICIOUS… My Husband had a burger and fries and it was delicious as well…Our server was Awesome and even the cook came out and spoke to us… Can’t Wait to go back

I took my wife there for the first time, ,Kristal was our server. She was AMAZING!! She had other customers that were demanding but took time to letbus know what was the best food (fried catfish and cowboy corn bites) will definitely be back! Thanks again Howdys and Kristal!

This was our first visit to Howdy’s. We will be back. The Philly Cheesesteak was great and the fries were fresh and crispy. The smash burger tasted good but wasn’t exactly “smashed”. The hamburger patty was quite a bit smaller than the bun. The onion rings were great.
There were only two servers and they were very busy. It was hard to get the server’s attention for drink refills or to pay the bill.
This restaurant and bar has a great atmosphere both inside and outside. It was too windy for us to sit outside but we will be back for that soon. I hope this local business finds success!

Really enjoyed the close proximity of this restaurant/bar to our RV campground. We could walk to it, but instead, we rode our e-bikes. Really liked the country decor & cool bar stools. Was lucky to hit the Kareoke night for entertainment.

First time visiting this unique restaurant. Great atmosphere with live music. We chose the daily special; catfish and trimmings. It was so delicious and the price was surprisingly economical. Our server was new but great. Friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to visit Howdy’s again.
