EXCELLENT Value for the money! I had heard many great things about Howard’s & made it a priority to come at 10:30am opening to beat the Sunday church crowd. I don’t think I have ever been asked so many times, “Are ya doin ok?” “Do you need anything?” I don’t see how you could not be happy with everything unless you don’t like a busy family place on a Sunday after church ⛪️ and I will be back!

1ST time eating at Howard’s in Ider. The atmosphere was very welcoming! The selections of food was wonderful! But oh my greatness, the food was AMAZING! EVERYTHING tasted FRESH and perfectly prepared! But the BIGGEST mouth drop was seeing the receipt, UNDER $40 for BOTH our meals & appetizer!! The meals were so big we had to get takeout boxes!!

WATCH OUT for the bench when walking in!! My son hit it with his leg & said some choice words in front of grannies. There was a slight weird smell going on. The waitress was great. Buffet on Fridays is Steak & Seafood. We had 3 burgers & fries. Will go again.

Stopped at Howard’s Restaurant right before noon today, after a beautiful ride in our Slingshot. It got very busy after we arrived but our waitress was very good and running her feet off. Unfortunately, I didn’t get her name. All of the staff was working very hard and our food was delivered in just a few minutes. They have a daily buffet and quite a few menu items to choose from. We ordered from the menu. I had a BLT and potato wedges and my hubby had a mushroom and Swiss burger and macaroni and cheese. Everything was good, but I have to say his mushroom and Swiss was large and looked amazing. We both had lunch and drinks for a little over $18. Everything on their menu is very affordable and cheaper than fast food. I highly recommend. We will definitely return and are eager to order a pizza from them to try.

Howard’s is my favorite local restaurant to visit hands down. One thing you can be sure of when you order food from here is that you’re not going to regret your decision!
From their awesome breakfast to country style lunch buffet I’ve never been dissatisfied with a meal I’ve had. The pizza is delicious and you can customize your orders easily! I use the cake.net online ordering service and my lunch is always ready when promised.
I’m glad that we have a place like Howard’s so close by that offers great service and delicious food. I may be bit of a regular since Siri always tells me how far it is from the office to the restaurant!

A simple, clean eating establishment. The atmosphere was good, the service fast. The buffet had plenty good choices and everything I ate was very good. I would recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

I know the Howards for 40 plus years. Tim and Chris i went to school with. They do an excellent job. Our favorites are there pizzas, Strombolies, hamburgers, and Fried Chicken. Its worth a stop.

Once again all As for Howard’s. SUNDAY buffet boasted chicken breast, creamed potatoes, pinto beans, cornbread muffins. As usual they were crowded, (always a great sign of goodness.) My friend and I just picked up to go plates. Service went smooth and quick even with the crowd. The breast was delicious, perfectly cooked, not dry, was tender and tasty. Beans were seasoned like my mama’s always were, same with the cream potatoes. Cornbread muffins were sweet, not what I’m used to but were still good. Howard’s is an awesome place to eat if you want food that tastes like home cooking. Plus burgers, pizzas, calzones(I think they call them something else. But it’s all so good. Staff is always helpful and friendly too. We will be back again.

Best French Dip stromboli EVER. Sweet servers. WE LOVE THEIR CHEESY BREADSTICKS!! Excellent red velvet cupcakes, strawberry shortcake cupcakes and chess bars.
There’s also a display at the hostess station, where you can purchase wax melts and candles. They smell amazing, come in adorable country-style packaging and are priced beyond reasonable.
