The place is conveniently located on the corner of California. We were greeted with a happy welcome. We got good recommendations for our meal by Louisa who was very happy behind the counter. The place is very clean, the service is friendly and the bathrooms are also immaculate. They have sit down eating or take away and this is definitely a place to stop in and grab a quick bite. The chicken was moist and tender, the fries were good the waffle was delicious and fluffy and crispy and the coleslaw was fresh and delicious.

This place is great because it’s one of the spots in the Arts District that has fast, affordable food. Marissa helped me at the register for my to-go order and was super friendly. She kept me entertained while I waited for my food while also helping other customers. The food always tastes great, and service is quick. I also like how they support Local Artists even though they are considered a private corporation, they do their part to mirror the community. They had a local artist in the restaurant who was having her dinner while selling her handmade pieces. I thought it was cool that they let her do that as it promotes art in the Art District. I hope they continue to support artist when they can!!!

Prices were very reasonable which is something I like nowadays. The decor was fun with a big glowing table that was cool to sit at, nice art on the walls, it has a pretty hipster feel to it which might be a little too cool for me at times but what can you do? Chicken sandwiches were fantastic. Make sure you get the coleslaw. The fries were great but could have been a bit hotter temperature wise. I love to be able to pick the heat of my sauce on a scale. Really good, overall with fast and patient counter service. A little more of a chain feel to this, not so much “Mom and Pop” but definitely one of the cleanest and most up-to-date spots in the Arts District along with the pizza joint right up the street. Open pretty late too so I could go after catching a play up the block at the Majestic Theater. Made for a very fun night out that I could afford with three kids in tow. Song young family with a very young baby eating there too, so you know that it’s pretty affordable.

Another amazing experience at HHC! Thank you Leo for handling my order perfectly! Anytime is a great time for Houston’s but I especially like it when I have a cold. It really opens up the sinuses! I went to Popeyes not long ago and couldn’t tell the difference between my spicy tenders and my daughter’s plain ones. Thank you Houston’s for not being afraid to go all in on the spice! I love me some spicy or liftoff!

Main street in DT Las Vegas is always interesting and Houston TX Hot Chicken is a great addition to the old school vibe. The food is served hot and fast with friendly smiles. The cucumber watermelon slushy is super yummy too!

First time having this and it didn’t disappoint. Chicken tenders, French fries, Southwest salad were delicious! I wasn’t a fan of the house sauce, it tasted like thousand island. But definitely would recommend and dine again! Also the bathrooms in this place were luxurious! Porcelain marble tile and backlit mirror. The cleanliness of this place was immaculate.
