We love spicy chicken, so obviously we had to try this place. I ordered the salad with spicy chicken tenders (dressing on the side because I’m responsible like that). My husband got the cheese chicken sandwich with the “Lift Off” spice level, and our son went all in with spicy tenders and fries.
Everyone warned us it was spicy spicy, so I was mentally preparing for tears. I tried the chicken plain first—great flavor, zero fear. Not spicy. I kept eating my salad with ranch (because ranch is elite), still waiting for the heat to show up.
My son swore his tenders had spice, so I tried one… nope. My taste buds are apparently built different. Meanwhile, my husband said the Lift Off spice had his tongue and lips feeling the burn, but in a “this still tastes amazing” way. He thinks the cheese sauce softened the blow, which feels fair.
Final verdict: flavorful chicken, spice levels vary depending on your bravery (or delusion). Would absolutely recommend—just don’t trust my spice tolerance as a baseline ️

First time but won’t be my last. My new favorite place for the best chicken tortilla soup has a touch of cilantro. I have not been able to find a good place but this is it!!! The Tortilla chips are very narrow crunch sized nothing I’ve seen anywhere and it doesn’t get soggy in the soup as quickly as others chips.
I also got a Southwest salad with mild spice and I like spicy food this was a touch more spicier than mild for those that are super sensitive to spice I would recommend less than mild. The chicken in the salad was tender and flavorful. The salad was delicious and the dressing was a type of cilantro lime tomatillo like I honestly am guessing a bit but the flavor was refreshing. Many choices of lemonade and I had the frozen and liked it very much! I will try the other flavors next!
Not a fan of the Mac and cheese side dish a bit too cheeses and commercialize.

So this is pretty damn good chicken. The nuggets are so much better than Chick-fil-A and at much better prices, however could be a little crunchier.

The original sandwich with everything on it has a perfect blend of flavors and crunch.

The only thing missing from 5 stars is that they add sugar to their food. That is not necessary, and the sandwich is actually just a tender in sandwich form. A thigh would be much better for a sandwich and I wouldn’t feel ripped off if it was more than just one tender in the sandwich.

The food was great and fresh, and fast! Not busy at all but I can imagine it would be slower when busy. The cashier was super kind and generous, I think her name was calico, but she was great!

Service was great, but unfortunately, that was the only positive from my experience. Super disappointed, as I was excited to try this place. For $15, I expect a proper sandwich, but this was basically a McDonald’s spicy chicken sandwich drenched in cheap nacho cheese sauce, Both in portion size and and the quality were lackluster. Two small, overcooked tenders, only lightly dusted in seasoning, on small, soggy buns. Big-time bummer, and won’t be returning.

Service was really fast and friendly. The fries and sauce were good. Our chicken was overcooked and pretty tough. But that could have been a one time thing. It was pretty spicy and the flavor was good.

Got the original sandwich, medium. My wife got the same, mild. Very good sandwich. Not a large sandwich, but very tasty. Medium had just the right amount of heat to enjoy the flavor. The fries are terrific. Crinkle cut, crispy, and they put a seasoning on them that can get a little heavy, but they were great. Blueberry lavender lemonade was pretty good. Pretty sweet, but good flavor. All in all, a good place. Kinda expensive to bring the family, but it was good for a couple.

Got the sandwich and tender combo, chicken was bland and has a super dense bun with some coleslaw on it. The fry portion was super small and at an extra $1 per small sauce it was expensive. On another note tried the Houston we have a problem spice level for the tender and I 100% do not recommend unless you want to have extreme pain in your mouth following canker sores after eating 2 bites, and have extreme stomach cramps for 2 days def no joke when it comes to the waiver tasted terrible just extremely hot. If your looking for a better fried chicken spot with better proportions within 20 ish minutes go try pretty bird a second choice would be Dave’s hot chicken.

Oh my God, the food was SO good. My husband is the type of person who loves spicy food, so we ordered the “Houston, We Have a Problem” thinking it was going to be like other places where “spicy” isn’t actually spicy at all…

But damn. It was LEGIT spicy. Like, my husband could only eat a quarter of the tender

Also, the girl who helped us was super sweet. I don’t remember her name exactly I think it was Camille or something like that? She had such a fun, charismatic vibe and was super attentive and helpful the whole time.

I had a sandwich that was honestly really good. I tried the mild, but next time I’m definitely going for medium.

Overall, such a great spot
we’ll for sure be coming back.
