I wish this place could be given ten stars. They truly deserve it. Lived in Bellwood all my life and housers has NEVER disappointed in that time. The cheddar broccoli soup is just to die for ❤️❤️ thank you housers for many past years of service and many more future ones to come. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Tried for the first time. Subs were filling, tasty, and looked amazing. The turkey sandwich was great. Bread was soft. The roast beef sub was also tasty. Cute store with lots of fun snack products.

Just ate at Houser’s on 7/21. We’re from out of town and the food was outstanding. The girls did a great job with the service, and the prices are very reasonable. I had a steak sub (not shaved!) and the wife and the kid had Italian subs. Keep up the great work!!

Have never got a bad sub from here. My wife and I drove down and got 2 to go. I got the Italian and she got the club. They were great tasting and well built. They don’t hold back on toppings. The price is unbeatable for the amount you get.

Outstanding. A real Gem. Great food, service and nostalgia!!! Passing through on a trip to Ohio. So glad we stopped at Houser’s!!! Just went back yesterday. Again it was a road trip stop and found the same friendly staff and had terrific subs! Fresh, generous portions of everything and very well made. Definitely on our list whenever in the neighborhood. I absolutely love all of the sandwiches made here. You definitely get your money worth here. The people here are all amazing, friendly, and helpful. I can’t specifically recommend anything because literally everything tastes amazing, with the piled high meat, cheese, and toppings. They have hand dipped ice cream and homemade sides. You won’t be disappointed if you come in and either sit and stay for a bite or grab it to go. They take orders over the phone for fast, easy pick up, and accept cash and cards. They also have grab and go items like milk, bread, soda chips, candy, and other items you might need. It’s definitely an amazing mom and pop shop with all the feelings of great family service. It’s definitely a hidden gem if you don’t already know about it. I highly recommend stopping by and giving it a try if you haven’t already.
