Had dinner here for the first time, and was pleasantly surprised with the choices of food available. We had one person with us who very much prefers basic “American” food and wasn’t thrilled we were dragging him along with us. It turned out the menu has a very good selection of “American” foods so it was pleasant for all of us! The service was good, the food was good, and the prices are definitely reasonable. Will go here for dinner again.

Finally got to go to House of Wong today. There’s a reason why they’ve been open for over 50 years! Their food is wonderful. Service was a tad slow for our liking but our server might have worked here since the beginning of the House of Wong inception. We were not in a hurry so not a big deal.
The sweet and sour chicken was as advertised, impressive! The fried rice was above average and the egg rolls were on point. Turns out with an entree, you get a piece of pie and they had many to choose from. Wow to the banana cream.
Sad it took me so long to visit and look forward to another visit. Thanks for a lovely Sunday dinner with friends.

Always get your money’s worth here. American or Chinese. Such varieties there is something for everyone. The sesame chicken with fried rice gives me a second dinner the next day. Comes with a piece of pie. French silk is highly recommended.

Chicken PadThai was TERRIBLE. Flavorless. The fried rice was awful. Coconut cream pie had no flavor, zero. Had it been a blind taste test, I would’ve never known what flavor the pie was. The worst food I’ve had out in a long time. So bummed out. How have they stayed in business all these years? Yuck.

This place has been around forever.. Discovered it when a friend took me. Best chinese food in MN. I live about 1hr south so it’s a treat for me when Im up in the cities. My usual is the sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, kung pao chicken.. they also give you a slice of pie with your entree.. banana creme is my choice!!! Definitely check this place out. We order on 11/22/25.. Orange chicken and Mongolian beef !!! Delish Bon Appetite

My husband ordered house fried rice which obviously included shrimp. I am adding a photo to show how small the shrimp are. The photo actually makes them appear larger than they are. This is criminal to feed people these small shrimps. Is this a bring your own shrimp restaurant

I would say the best thing we had was the lo mein. I wanted to come here to try the banana cream pie, as it had great reviews. I feel like the food isn’t authentic Chinese food. The Mongolian beef didn’t have any beef and filled with lots of onions and carrots and very saucey. Fried rice the rice was broken. I asked for banana cream pie to go and was packed and given to me in pieces (shown in picture). I didn’t get to fully enjoy or savor the pie as it was given a mess.

If could give 0 stars I would! Do not get food from this place,absolutely horrible!!! wanted to bring my food back to get a refund they said no refund even with your receipt!! So they make you keep the food even though it’s not edible!They charge way too much for their food to be gross!! Maybe eating in is better!?but take out is trash will never go here ever again in life!!!! Was very rude when I told them i wasn’t satisfied!!! I have eaten some good Chinese food but this place is not it @ all KEEP YOUR MONEY! They don’t deserve it!!
