Dinner was excellent. Hot, fresh and we had a fabulous server Hailey. Fried avocado was amazing, my ramen vegan bowl was incredibly delicious and so was my daughter’s ramen. We will come out of our way to dine here again. Leftovers today reheated up perfectly.

Who allowed this place open in Canton, MI? Whoever it was, they deserve a raise! We stumbled into House of Umami tonight and couldn’t have been more surprised. Incredible service, 20/10. Even better food. We ordered the jalapeño tuna sashimi, soup dumplings, the lobster + wagyu sushi roll and one of the best bowls of Tonkatsu Ramen I’ve ever had. Get extra broth, you won’t regret it.

Absolutely loved this place! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully done. The potstickers were perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside, the spring rolls were light and crunchy, and the ramen noodles were rich, comforting, and full of depth. You can really taste the quality and care in each dish. Great food, great experience — we’ll definitely try to come in too.

The food and service are absolutely amazing! Maria C was our server and she was phenomenal. My daughter has to eat gluten-free and she was very knowledgeable. She also worked with the chef to create an alternative for a dish my daughter really wanted to make it meet her dietary needs. Also, I was the only one in my group not skilled enough to use chopsticks. She brought me a cool contraption to make easy-use chopsticks with no judgment. So friendly and helpful! The atmosphere was trendy and calm and the food cannot be beat. We will definitely be back!

We stopped by for a quick dinner on a cold night and absolutely loved everything. The ramen was rich, comforting, and full of flavor, and their menu is impressively extensive — from bao to sushi, everything looked and tasted amazing. We also tried the mango crepe cake, which were both incredible. Such a great local spot, our new favorite — we’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

The staff was amazing, the atmosphere was very clean and inviting. The potstickers were ok, the spring rolls were good. The sushi was mediocre. I didnt like that they put my order and my guest order on the same plate. Its a lot of rice and very small amounts of protein or much else. It didnt taste like much but rice. I wouldnt go back.

My fiancé and I decided to come here on a date night. The place was pretty busy but we were sat down pretty quickly. Our waitress was Maria C. She was very kind and attentive especially with how busy it was. She checked on us multiple times and my drink was never empty. She was bubbly and you can tell she’s not only good at her job, but she enjoys it.

Always very clean, I love the tiger eye rolls (no jalapeño) so much that I’ve ordered at least 30 orders of them since this place opened! The music they play here is so good, and it’s always a pleasure to expand my music taste whenever we come here, and to relisten to iconic citypop classics. The servers are all so kind and fun, I don’t have all the names of the ones we’ve met but Cam, Cherish, Jeremy, Maria, Mickenzi, and many others have all been so friendly, funny, and sweet! I appreciate that the music isn’t too loud, it’s never too overstimulating in here, the lights aren’t too bright, the tables and chairs are clean, and it’s never tightly packed in here.

We ordered the Edamame that’s on special with the garlic and it should definitely be a part of the regular menu! The best choice. The service was excellent! We had Jeremy. Very attentive. He was on top of everything and so kind. I recommend this place to anyone, 15/10 for sure!

I took my daughter for the first time for her birthday. She really likes the place, the food and wants to go back. They messed up a couple times on our order, she put in the wrong order, asked for a dish without an item but it was in there, but the waitress was new. She was really nice though and the manager corrected everything. I liked it too but I want to try it again. The bbq bao bun, so good!
