The House Of Thai is labeled as the most authentic thai cuisine in Dayton. I am hoping to find out how true that is when I go to Thailand on vacation. I ordered fried chicken spring rolls and the pork rama stir fry which came with a plate of rice, broccoli and carrots, with a creamy peanut sauce. The heat level i orderee was a 2 from the waitress’s recommendation but I could have been fine with a 3 heat level. Good thing they had some chili paste and crushed chili avaliable. I felt like the vegetables were a different temperature then the pork and sauce. They weren’t that much different but it was noticeable. Besides that small detail the food was delicious and the service was amazing. The atmosphere was very chill and the music was low enough to think and have a conversation but still enjoy the soft melody. The bathrooms were very clean, maybe a broken tile or two, but it had a fresh coat if paint. You can tell they fixed it up and it’s only getting better when times goes on. They probably poured their blood sweat and tears to get where they are at. The progress of improvement shows. I hope they keep up the good work and I hope to return in the near future.

We ordered on DoorDash, so i can not rate the service or atmosphere.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL! the fried bananas were the unexpected surprise. We tried them on a whim, and they were delicious. Sweet, crunchy, and the banana flavor held up – great dessert, or in our case appetizer.

Our noodle dishes were equally good, flavorful, perfect cook on everything, and the spicy level was true to grade. We like spucy foods. And these were spot on. I would recommend more than the mild for someone who doesnt like spice.

Overall, this was a good place for a good Thai meal. The atmosphere was great, and the staff was very friendly. However, there were a few things that made the experience feel a little “off”. First, we had three different servers help us at our table. One of the servers runs the boba tea bar, and she was very friendly. But we had to order our boba tea directly from her and pay for the boba teas separately from our dinner bill, which was strange – not bad, just strange. The boba teas were delicious, except for the tapioca boba pearls. Several of them weren’t chewy like they’re supposed to be. Instead, they were hard, causing us to have to spit them out, which was a little unsettling. Next, we had two other servers constantly rotating at our table, so we never truly knew who our server actually was. Sometimes they would both come at different times and ask the same questions, so it was obvious the two servers weren’t communicating with each other fully in terms of what they were doing for each table. My Thai Spicy Stir Fry with Tofu was delicious. However, my husband said his Tofu Yellow Curry tasted “off”, almost “fishy”. He said it felt like his curry vegetables were boiled in fish broth or something similar because the curry just didn’t taste right. That definitely wasn’t great since we are vegetarians. So, overall, we would go back to this restaurant. We probably wouldn’t get the tapioca boba pearls if we got the boba tea again and my husband wouldn’t get the curry. But we would go back because the good things were really good.

This is a solid four star experience. The food is better than most Thai restaurants around. I’m just so tired of seeing the same four curry dishes and four noodle dishes everywhere. It’ll be so great if we could get some diversity Thai food is such a vast variety of foods but we get the same 10 dishes everywhere

While the food was delicious, I had to suffer through the spice level! I ordered a level 2 “mild” and I could barely finish the food. I understand everyone’s perception of spice is different but wow, it felt definitely way more than mild.

Best Thai restaurant so far. I strongly recommend this place for family gatherings or any special occasions. The staff are friendly. The atmosphere of the place is excellent. I have tried the original Thai food before, and I can confirm that by coming to this place, you will get a wonderful experience of having Thai cuisine! By the way, they do serve dessert, too!

I ordered yellow curry and it was good but watery I like it a little thicker and the potato in it is hard still so can’t eat that. My Thai tea was okay I ask for little ice they put 80% ice I asked her to take it back she asked me if I drank any of it like what does that matter …? Then it came back already mixed up so that tells me it’s not a new one and it wasn’t full to the top of the rim. The chicken wings were very good that sauce was taste. The Singapore plate was way too spicy but good!

Oh my goodness! I have lived in Xenia for 3 years and honestly up until recently I had never even had Thai food. This place is AMAZING!!!! If you have ever had Thai or have ever thought about trying Thai, THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! If you’re like me, I can’t handle spicy and you can actually order the food with no spice! We started with the shrimp blankets and crab Rangoon for appetizers and let me tell you, they are on point! It came out hot, the sauce was so tasty, crispy and the Rangoons were full. Then I ordered the pineapple tangerine chicken with no spice and just wow. The fruit was fresh, the chicken was cooked to perfection and whatever that sauce was, was phenomenal. My husband ordered the seafood clay pot at a mild heat, and as you can see it actually comes in a clay pot. My husband said it was very tasty. It has a bunch of different seafoods and the clear noodles. They give you a big portion of rice with your meal and just by itself it is delicious. We finished up with the mango sticky rice. The rice was warm and the mango was chilled and fresh. I cannot express just how mouth wateringly delicious this dish is.
