We are absolutely guilty of eating at House of Thai at least three times a week, and sometimes we order again even though we already have leftovers from them sitting in our fridge. That probably says everything that needs to be said.
The food is consistently delicious and comforting in that way where you already know exactly what you’re craving before you even place the order. Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. It’s one of those places where you never have to second-guess what you’re ordering because it’s always good.
What we love most is the consistency. Whether we’re dining in or taking food home, the quality never changes. Portions are generous, flavors are spot on, and it somehow still feels like a treat every single time, even though it has become part of our regular routine.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the overall experience is easy and reliable, which honestly matters so much when life is busy. It’s the kind of place you default to because you know it won’t disappoint.
Clearly, we are loyal customers, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. If you’re looking for a go-to spot that you’ll keep coming back to again and again, House of Thai is it. We may need an intervention at this point, but we’re not mad about it.

The food here was delicious. Also very affordable. The flavors were very bold and nothing was spicy that we ordered unless we added spices to it. I appreciate it that only because some Thai restaurants have dishes that are standard spicy and that can be hard for little kids to eat. I ordered the yellow curry which tastes yummy but my only critique on that was it was slightly too sweet in my personal opinion. I love that everything here is pretty affordable. So many options for food. There seems to be a little bit of everything for everyone depending on your mood.

We had a large order to go for a small party. Ordered a lot of different dishes. Curry chicken and rice dishes were pretty good. Beef dishes including crying tiger and pepper beef were about average (bit spendy for the quality). Chicken dishes had lots of flavor, but too rich that it sometimes lost the true flavor. At least the vegetables in the dishes tasted fresh. However, the tom yum soup was way too sour and shrimp inside were overcooked (definitely not fresh shrimp used because they were dry and hard), the taste a bit unbearable with most of our guests saying the same. Was expecting a much better experience based on the high ratings from others but unfortunately, definitely didn’t hit the mark for me. I eat at many different Thai restaurants so I’m familiar with this type of food. But of course this is only my opinion. I guess it’s worth a try but I would lower your expectations so you don’t get disappointed like I did.

For today’s Yorba Linda lunch spot review I’m visiting The House of Thai Cuisine. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it so had to try it out myself….I wasn’t disappointed. The service and the food were great. I got the egg rolls and Pad Thai and both were delicious. There are at least another 15 items on the menu I want to try so I will be back again soon to enjoy some more delicious food!

I went in today 8/16 with my friend. We were given a warm welcome and promptly seated as they weren’t too busy yet around 11pm. We were given excellent service! Our waitress was very sweet and attentive! She refileld our waters multiple times without asking. I ordered the hot tea with my meal and once I finished my pot she offered me more hot water without me asking! My friend got the veggie pad thai and I opted for the pineapple curry with a side of steamed veggies. I chose salmon as my protein I absolutely loved it! I got mild, and it wasn’t too spicy so maybe next time I’d think going medium would be safe for my white girl pallet. The food was flavorful, fresh and the portions were a good value! Both my friend and I really enjoyed our food and we are planning on coming back to try more dishes! I would recommend stopping by! Delish.

Really dig this spot. The cuisine is delicious, served hot, fresh and very authentic. The Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken Curry +Rice, and PadSayEw are my typical choices. Deeelish Peanut Sauce is a must. Had a new chicken, broccoli, rice noodle, gravy…it was super savory, and good! (see photos). Mr.CHAI is an incredible server. The music and ambiance is great too. Highly recommend .

“Hands down the best Thai spot in town! The food here is off-the-charts delicious, bursting with flavors that you’ll definitely enjoy. From their pad see ew to their killer pad Thai, every dish is a total winner. Plus, the vibe is super chill and the staff are always friendly and down-to-earth. If you’re craving some seriously good Thai food, this place is an absolute must-try. Five stars all the way!” Don’t forget to save room for the mango sticky rice.
