BEASTMODE
Saw this little hidden gem right across the street from Donut Man on Glendora, decided to walk over and give them a try.
Walked into the spot first thing I noticed inside was pretty clean and finally a place with cleaned tables and floor. We ordered a Carne asada torta and (4) tacos (Tripas,Al Pastor and Carne Asada) all the food was fresh the torta was on point, the carne asada was fresh and the bread they use for the torta was perfect some places use bread that’s too thick all you can taste is the bread so yup on point.
Moving on to the tacos they were all fresh all the meats tasted fresh not old and as for the tripa tacos HECK YEAH! Finally found a spot where they know how to make tripas and they do not taste dirty, some places do not clean their tripas right and you can taste the dirt in them not here they were pretty fresh and taste wise yumm!!
Service is good too friendly so that’s a plus. Overall place is clean and food is flavorful and fresh, definitely will be coming back.

Not worth it to me. Food is plain. Almost no flavor.
Price is good.

Local hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the appearance. Best taco place ever. We cater their tacos for events too. Definitely try the shrimp tacos. We had guests that would return on the same day to order more.

What can I say about this place that hasn’t already been said? Only the good reviews though! First time here and we had to try the tacos but we went all out and did the big tray of 25 tacos and we got all 4 flavors! Chicken, carnitas, al pastor and carne asada all for $35!!! You get cilantro, onions, limes and hot sauce. It was all more than I had expected sooooo good! Then the second time we had the carne asada burrito, cheese quesadilla and the pastrami sandwich. Ok, the burrito was delicious and the meat was nicely seasoned and soft. My motto is you don’t order non Mexican food at a Mexican restaurant but I read the reviews and I had to try the sandwich. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t great either. Just mediocre. Now I know, don’t order sandwiches at house of tacos! But I do want to try their hamburger but I will opt to trying the burrito first.

I have been hunting for the perfect torta and I found it here!
The meat was flavorful and just the right amount of fatty. The tomato, avocado, and lettuce added the perfect amount of freshness. The cheese and beans were perfectly balanced and they added just the right amount of mayo. I’ve never had a better torta.
To make things even better, for the price they are huge! Less than $10 and easily satisfied both my husband and I.

Great little hole in the wall that you might skip past like I did. Don’t make the same mistake, which assumed a place that makes both Mexican and American food can’t make either one very well. Boy was I wrong. We tried this place because my GF prefers chicken milanesa and I prefer beef. This is one of the few places that have both, so why not. Tried the chicken milanesa torta, steak sandwich (just to try the American side of the house), four tacos, and asada huarache and a beef empanada. Everything was delish. Not a bad dish, although the portions are pretty huge so be careful what you order :). The only thing I probably won’t order again is the steak sandwich. It was good with plenty of meat, but not really a “steak” sandwich but thin cuts of beef/steak. Could have easily been called an carne asada sandwich. Again, delish, just not what I was expecting. Did i mention how huge this sandwich was! Check out the pics. I’ll probably try the house special or roast beef instead next time on the American side and want to try the Chile verde and some of the other empanadas on the Mexican/Latin side.
Pro tip: if your really hungry and want milanesa, get the sandwich vs the torta. For an extra dollar you can see the difference in size of the large sandwich vs torta. The bread and fillings may be different, but it was all good.

Probably the best little hidden gem in this area. It’s got a big quiet parking lot. The place is completely unassuming from the outside.
I’ve had burritos, tacos and sándwiches from this place and everything I’ve ever picked up from here has been A+. If you’re near, you should definitely stop by.

This spot has been amazing every time we pickup. Usually get the large taco platter to feed our big crowd, and the crew are always very kind, helpful, and generous with their delicious salsas! Their fresh chips are also the best and worth an add to your order.
