Friends had discovered it on their recent trip to Kauai and recommended it to me as one of their food truck picks and boy were they spot on. Located along the ocean, this spot served some of the freshest fish in town. Staff was nice and service was quick. Will definitely be back again!

It was okay. Couple of the rolls tasted good I guess. Totally have empathy that there’s just 1 guy inside, but there was nobody else ordering, and it took 40 minutes to get 3 rolls. And again, the rolls themselves, definitely nothing special.
Person taking our orders wasn’t particularly kind or welcoming either.
It was solid though, maybe there’s an order ahead option that would save time.

Delicious sushi! Freshly made and presented beautifully with a nice place to sit. The unagi nigiri was delicious and brought flashbacks to my childhood! Definitely recommend a visit!

Great hidden gem in Lihue. This unassuming food truck is tucked away in what used to be a parking lot for the Harbor Mall but is now occupied by 3 food trucks (house of sushi being one of the 3). We had several dishes (hawaiin salad, 3 rolls, edamame, poke bowl) and everything was great! There were a bunch of tables to eat at too – both covered and uncovered. Parking is plentiful and easy. Highly recommend! Great casual & laid back sushi spot in Lihue.

1 star only because drove all the way here and it was closed at 6 pm on Friday. Per google it’s open until 8pm . Was looking forward to good reasonably priced food . Gave our business to another local truck Kauai Bbq in same location .
