I ordered the large pepperoni with extra cheese. This was the best pizza I have had in many years! Sorry my pic is after we ate half but it was just so good. We also ordered wings and mozzarella sticks and both were delicious!

Waited 45 mins for pizza and it’s cold, chewy and loaded with nasty canned mushrooms. Such a shame because a few years ago this was a great place. Won’t ever go again.

Best pizza and sandwiches I have had. Moved away a long time ago, but try to stop in every time I am back to visit. Travelled a lot, but I keep coming back to this taste of home. Great pizza, great sandwiches. Large roast beef sub all the way is such a great sandwich. Highly recommended!

Very disappointed. Ordered from here after hearing good things and reading the reviews.
Pizza: dry dry dry. The crust was hard and crunchy not in a crisp way, but a stale way. Ingredients seem low quality. Sauce is the standard commercial dried herb style. Cheese congealed into a thick layer.
Roast Beef Grinder: Rated a “popular item” on delivery app and good reviews online. They forgot Italian dressing as requested which was sad as this thing, again, was dry dry dry. Roast beef was poor quality and dry/over cooked.
Veggie Pie: This has the most flavor and the flakiness of the crust helped to make up for its complete dryness.
Blue Cheese Dressing: Homemade and the best thing we had from this establishment. And, quite needed.

My wife and I were driving from Boston down to East CT on Saturday, and stopped into House of Pizza on a whim for dinner. The review pictures of their pizzas and calzones looked too good to pass up. I got a large Linguica grinder with onions, peppers, and sauce, and she got a large steak, mushroom, & onion calzone. Both were quite large, especially her calzone. My grinder was very good, but her calzone was even better. It was loaded with cheese, and the filling was perfectly seasoned. I was particularly impressed with their marinara sauce, which is a weak spot for many pizza joints. If you’re passing through the area, House of Pizza is pretty easy to get to from the highway, and it makes a great excuse to get out of the car and stretch your legs. The food was fantastic, and you will definitely have leftovers!

I order takeout from here semi-regularly and it’s always a solid choice. Onion rings are especially noteworthy along with the cheeseburger grinders and steak and cheeses. My order is always ready quickly and the food travels well. My only fairly big complaint is their hours. Closing at 8PM on Friday/Saturday nights is super annoying. I really wish they would stay open later on weekends.

Ordered the 2 topping combo smaller pizza. I say smaller because it isn’t small. Excellent quality of toppings. Tomato sauce was not too tangy like a lot of places. Meatballs weren’t burned like a lot of places or the bacon either. Good portions on toppings. Not too much, not too little. They’ve been at it for awhile so they have it down pat.
