Great ambience and decor, it was quite interesting. The highlight for me was the mango coconut naan, never seen something like that before in an Indian restaurant’s menu. Taste was sweet and would try again if I get the chance to visit again, its a long distance. I didn’t like the rice or curry, it wasn’t particularly authentic Indian taste, didn’t have any spice at all. The waiter who served us was very attentive. Items on the menu are a bit too pricy. Would recommend the naan for its sweetness and flavour.

Decent vegetarian options but food is not that spicy as expected. Aloo Ki Tikki, Onion Bhaji, Chutney with Poppadom were excellent. Soya Chaamp, Fried Rice and Manchurian were decent. Baigan Ka Salan lacked proper spices. Gobhi Buhari was too oily. Methi Chaman was bad. Cocktails and Mocktails were not up to the mark, contained syrups. Service is very slow, even on a weekday. We waited more than 45 min for our food to be prepared. Staff lacked interest. Ambience is decent, seating is a bit congested. Washrooms are located one floor upstairs.

I visited couple of times while travelling back from London. This restaurant is excellent for North Indian food, offering delicious food. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a nice display of spices on the tables that adds to the authenticity of the dining experience. Our server was very attentive and helpful.

We started with papadoms and drinks. The papadoms were served with a variety of dips, kids loved it. We also tried Daal makhani, Paneer, pulaav with cheese chili, garlic naan. Food was amazing as always.

Overall, House of Flavours offers a great dining experience with good food, a nice atmosphere, and very helpful staff. I highly recommend it if you are around this area and looking for authentic Indian food.

Visited Reading after 10 years and of-course I had to come back to my favorite Indian restaurant which I used to frequent often! Got to see some old faces such as Tony which was really good however the most standout point is the food and consistency in taste and serving sizes had remained the same, which is an impressive feat, so congrats to the entire HOF team.

It was a Friday night so great to see the restaurant packed, the food and service was exceptional, although having some music in the background would have been nice, but the food was 10/10 som glad this has been kept up

Had a nice experience at House of Flavours. The food was really good, especially the Bhatti Murg flavorful and reminded me of Delhi. Service was smooth, and the manager, Tony, was polite and attentive. Overall, a solid spot for good Indian food. Must visit

First to Reading and heard much about House of Flavours from my friends and I’m from Birmingham. I couldn’t believe it was packed on a Tuesday night! I ordered the Chilli Garlic fish and papadum as a starter and jumbo prawn biryani for the main course.
I have to say, the food was amazing. The service was exceptional, despite the restaurant being busy. Mr. Nithin asked about the food, and thanks to the manager who also came to our table for a check-back. I couldn’t find any fault. I went all alone but never felt like I was alone.
The brownie was phenomenal too! Considering I was there just one day, I’d definitely recommend it. Great value for money. Nithin explained that they have a buffet during weekends, so I’ll visit next time for the buffet.if I get a chance to visit reading.

House of Flavours offers a wonderful Indian dining experience, delicious food, a warm and inviting interior, and a fantastic buffet with plenty of tasty options. The à la carte menu is brilliant too! The friendly staff make every visit enjoyable. Every time I pass by, I’m tempted by the welcoming interior.

Spacious restaurant with very helpful staff. The food was nice, though the flavours were a bit different from what we’re used to in London. Still, it’s a lovely place overall, and we’d like to come back to try the buffet in the future!

Had dinner with a couple of colleagues.

Ordered the banquet set 1 for 4. Cheapest since we were not that hungry.

A bit of a wait for the food as there were a big group before us.

Had 2 rounds of double shots Gin & Tonic.

Overall taste wise it was customised for the local taste buds. Still pretty good taste.

However, the butter chicken was a bit too sweet for our taste buds. 4 of us felt it was like eating pure sweet and honey.

Chef needs to add for garlic to enhance the taste and smell of the Garlic Naan.

Staff were very polite and helpful. Server answered a ton of questions as we clarify and decide what to choose for our meal. She also helped with explaining the different sauces and dips.

There was a live solo performer on guitar serenading the guests with songs.

House of Flavours truly lives up to its name. The flavours are absolutely top notch. Every dish I have tried here has been terrific and the taste is honestly out of this world. My personal favourite is the Chicken Biryani, which keeps bringing me back at least once every week (sometimes even more!). The curries are delicious and the starters are mind-blowing. Jagvir has always been very polite and welcoming with us, such a lovely person and it’s always nice to see him when we visit. Highly recommend!
