Omg! What can be said about house of empanadas? That it was worth me.driving 2 hours just to try these amazing delicious empanadas. The CUBAN is to die for. Such amazing flavors in your mouth and you can tell they are made with nothing but love and made fresh once you place your order. IF ITS YOUR 1ST time trying PUERTORICAN FOOD YOU WONT REGRET IT. You will find yourself coming back for more. Not to mention the dedication and love put into the food. Churro empanada, Mac n cheese empanada, beef empanada, pizza empanada, la jibarita empanada,( mind you my son is picky and he loved loved the pizza empanada). YOU WONT LEAVE DISAPPOINTED! THE OWNER n Staff make you feel at home just like family. Thank you Jessica and HOUSE OF EMPANADAS for your exquisite and amazing empanadas, and best of the best Cuban sandwich. We were in the neighborhood in search of a flea market which was unfortunately closed. We saw this place on our way back home and decided to stop by and try. We were blown away by how tasty everything was and the service was amazing! I HIGHLY recommend you try their “La Jibarita” empanada. It was crazy good! And it comes with a delicious mango salsa! We also tried and loved their “Plato tipico” which comes with pulled pork, yellow rice, a salad, and fried sweet plantain. Can’t wait to come back to this place already!

Where can I begin, firstly the greeting made you feel at home. The moment you go in they greet you like they known you forever. Once you look at the menu you want to try everything. I ordered the cubana sandwich, empanada called la jaribarita, guava with cheese, churro empanada’s pizza empanada’s. I have to admit EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS. You can taste the love ❤️ they create their food. I wanted to devour the cubana the moment I took the 1st bite. Delicious at its finest. Will be returning soon to try other items on their menu.

If I could give this place a higher review than 5 stars, I would! The food quality here is amazing. This is hands down the best Puerto Rican food in Southern California! The empanadas were all delicious! The crispness when you bite in and the inside of any of these are stuffed with deliciousness. All of them were good in their own way!
Both sandwiches we tried were great but the one that stood out the most was the one with tostones.
They also make the best abichuelas!
And don’t forget to order the chicken chicharron, you will not be disappointed. The chicken is seasoned well, crunchy on the outside and meaty and juicy on the inside. What an incredible establishment. The inside is spacious and neat. The staff is wonderful and welcoming.
They do get busy and keep in mind that they are doing everything from scratch. If you’re on your lunch break order over the phone. If you have time to wait then I promise you it’s worth the wait!

This is my new favorite place. Best in Lancaster. We ordered the Philly empanadas and chicken. The churrasco plate, AMAZING!!! And the agua de guanabana, mango, and passion fruit to make it all the perfect combination of flavors. I’m still eating and writing this review. You have to give this place a try. Don’t miss out

DELICIOUS!!! My husband and I visited this restaurant on 07/29/23 and were not disappointed. The service was A + and the food is amazing. We had the octopus, shrimp creole and picadillo empanadas and were blown away. Not salty or greasy and the dough was flavorful and flaky. Then tried the guava and cheese empanada and was just so happy I bought 3. The melted guava mixed with the cheese made it taste buttery and sweet. We are definitely going back to enjoy the rest of the menu. The friendliness of the owner Jessica and her children made the visit perfect. Thank you for the great food and much success!!

I purely stumbled into this place by accident after my car broke down across the street. After I got the car towed, I chose this location to get picked up by a Lyft driver. I was starving and had some time before getting picked up so I ordered an empanada. Beyond delicious! Came back the next day to try out some more empanadas. I’m about to recommend this place to everyone and bring some friends next time.

Tried this today for the first time it was delicious. El Cubanito Empanada was my favorite I also liked the Philly cheese empanada. My boyfriend had the pepperoni pizza empanada he liked it as well . We also got the dish of the day idk the name but it was also very delicious. I will definitely be going back . The customer service was excellent. If you have a 30min lunch I would recommend calling ahead of time so your food can me ready .

Love this place. There aren’t many Puerto Rican restaurants in LA, but this one is hands down the best! Very authentic. The empanadas are amazing and so is the rice and penil. The Tembleque cheesecake is fire too!

These are the best empanadas I have ever had, if you live in LA and you are not eating these empanadas I Dorn know what you are doing. Special shoutout to the philly cheesesteak and the guava cheese dessert empanada. These are incredible, they rock, best empanadas ever.
