Classic Chinese dishes include a few Taiwanese specialties in a serene, cream-colored dining room.

I was referred by a friend, so this was my first time. All the food was good, but I’m not use to shrimp fried rice, where you can hardly see the shrimp, it was little pieces, same thing with the Mei Fun chicken, hardly any chicken just noodles and a little vegetables.. The chicken and broccoli were fine and the General Tao Chicken was good.

We checked on House of Dynasty online and it had good reviews. The prices were somewhat high but I thought that meant the food was good. Otherwise, they wouldn’t charge so much. We ordered carry out for pickup. When we got to the restaurant my husband went down to pick up the order. He got back to the car and was very excited. He said the smell of the food in the restaurant was good, it seemed busy inside even though it was around 3pm on a Sunday, and the staff was friendly. He was so happy he even brought a carry out menu for next time. Well, there will not be a next time from House of Dynasty. The chicken corn soup, which was enough for 1 person, looked a weird yellow color and the taste was off. I couldn’t taste chicken or corn. The rest of the food was okay, if I had gotten it from a buffet. It tasted and seemed not freshly made. The meal was definitely not worth the $90 it cost. They charge for the hot chili oil and if you want fried rice instead of white rice it is an additional $4.80. My stomach was not happy with the meal and I immediately threw out the carry out menu.

Haven’t been here in years. I was in the area and decided to stop on in.
I remember back in the day, this place was great. Can’t say it now.
My snow peas were soft and mushy, the chicken dish I ordered had no taste, the chicken wasn’t tender.
The peking duck was not flavorful at all. Their prices are higher than other restaurants, so I would expect better quality, etc. Oh well..
I guess the next time I’m in the area and craving some good Chinese food, I will have to look elsewhere.

This restaurant used to be a favorite but the quality has been disappointing for some time now. We decided to give it another try and ordered carryout. We ordered a chicken entree and the chicken was very tough (probably thighs) and the sauce was overly sweet. We also ordered special rice noodles which had absolutely no flavor despite having lots of chicken and vegetables. The crispy fried shrimp we ordered as an appetizer was very soggy and overly breaded. The hot and sour soup was just ok. We spent $118 (food, tax, tip and delivery) and ate very little of it. We don’t like to waste food, but we tossed most of it because it was almost inedible. Very disappointed.

Ambiance and atmosphere is amazing, very well organized, clean, beautifully decorated. A fancier thab usual restaurant for Asian dining for sure, had a nice vibe.
Staff was kind, took the orders and explained the menu.
The restroom smelled a bit funky.
Food was not what I would call authentic Chinese, more Americanized. The lunch special was not upto the mark at all. The Eggroll was inedible, so greasy and just falling apart. The food wasn’t seasoned like usual Chinese restaurants.
I wasn’t impressed at all with the food.

Had lunch here with some friends and everyone was very pleased with their meals. Everything was cooked perfectly so the chicken was tender and juicy. The flavors popped in every single item we were served. Highly recommend going here and would love to go back again to try more. The restaurant itself had a fairly fancy decor but you welcomed as you are, as my group was not dressed up. Staff was prompt and kind and the food came out very fast.

I’ve been coming to HoD for over 20 years — they still got it!! The rainbow thin rice noodles are delicious and so is the Szechuan green beans!

I was pleasantly surprised. Try their combination fried rice, beef in black bean sauce, or spare ribs.

In the area wanted to try this place out. Ordered a dinner portion of Beef and Broccoli with Fried Rice ($27.00) they up charged for fried rice. We called in the order, and it was ready when we arrived (hence the the 2 stars). Our food however was disappointing. Our rice had a burnt taste and smell as if it were scraped from the bottom of the pan. Beef and broccoli was sweet instead of savory. It resembled the flavor of orange chicken which was not our order. I doubt we will try this place again.

This is my Aunt’s favorite restaurant, so we took her there for a Mother’s Day lunch. The food was fresh and tasty. The restaurant has a lot of waiters so service was quick. The hot and sour soup is excellent. We also ordered green beans, eggplant, crispy beef, sizzling scallops and shrimp, General Tso’s chicken (we were a big group). I’m not a big fan if Chinese cuisine but I usually enjoy the food at this restaurant and would recommend it to others.
