Social Profile:

We specialize on making traditional dishes from Mexico, starting with an ancient and principal ingredient on Mexican Cuisine which is Corn. Corn is the corner stone of our food, we craft all our food from scratch, starting with the Corn kernels, we Nixtamalize (cook corn kernels in water and calcium), Stone grind them to get the Dough (masa), to make our own fresh gluten free Corn Tortillas, Huaraches, Sopes, Quesadillas and more. We value our Mexican Heritage and that’s why we are here to share it with you.

Best Mexican food I’ve had in Utah! Why husband and I got one of the shared dishes, it was so huge it could have fed four people! We left with tons of delicious leftovers. The homemade corn tortillas were incredible and the shredded marinated meats were out of this world!! The staff was attentive and kind. Overall a great experience! Highly, highly recommend!

We enjoyed our food and service. The homemade chips were excellent, as well as the Carne Asada and Green Chicken Enchiladas. The server was attentive and the atmosphere was fun.

Just had my first meal there tonight. My husband and I stopped in to try the place. I had 2 chicken street tacos and my husband has their chicken tamales. Oh man, everything was so good. I got to taste my husbands tamales and I can say the best I have ever had. The street tacos were very good. I am going to take some friends there in a couple of days. The staff were also great. Food came out fast and so fresh tasting.

Fun atmosphere but the food wasn’t great. Fairly certain put cheese in my burrito when I asked for no cheese and my friends dish was very salty.
Service was also a bit lacking.

Delicious, authentic Mexican food in Salt Lake. The decorations were charming and reflected classic Mexico, the portions generous, as seen in the mocajete photo and deliciously seasoned. Would recommend.

I recently visited House of Corn in Salt Lake City, and it was an absolute standout for authentic Mexican food. This spot truly lives up to its name, focusing on fresh, handmade corn tortillas in different varieties (blue, red, yellow) that elevate every dish.
We ordered the enchiladas and the quesabirria (those cheesy, crispy birria tacos with tender beef and that rich consommé for dipping). Everything was amazing – the enchiladas were perfectly sauced with flavorful fillings wrapped in those incredible homemade tortillas, and the quesabirria was juicy, melty, and packed with bold, authentic flavors. The birria meat was fall-apart tender, and dipping the tacos in the broth took it to another level.
The portions were generous, the ingredients tasted fresh and high-quality, and the whole experience felt like a real taste of traditional Mexican cuisine without any Tex-Mex shortcuts. If you’re craving genuine flavors and especially love corn-based dishes done right, this is a must-try. Highly recommend – definitely coming back soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I found the use of from scratch tortilla chips and tortillas to be quite nice. I had the asada burrito with the chips and salsa. Quiet restaurant, big portions. I’d recommend this place for a larger party. Rating 7.5/10 all things considered.

First time going to this hidden gem. Had family from Cali visiting and we all wanted authentic Mexican food. We read a few reviews and thought we’d give this place a try. We were not disappointed. They ground their corn in-house, which i thought was pretty damn cool. Some people may not appreciate this (it can be a bit gritty), but it reminded me of my grandmas cooking and I loved it! I got the chilaquiles with eggs and chicken, the tacos dorados, and an horchata… all amazing! Other family members got the enchiladas, quesabirria with consume, street tacos, and queso fundido. We shared a few bites of each other’s food and it was all so good. The decor was also a cool vibe. I’ll definitely be going back to try other items on their menu.
