Friday and Saturday night excellent piano music creates a very pleasant relaxing atmosphere. Service was fast and friendly.
Fuji Apple tea tasted smooth but left a slightly bitter aftertaste. Crab lagoon and egg rolls had chewy crust like it had been reheated in a microwave. The egg drop soup was good but only average. The vegetable fried rice had a touch too much oil and the vegetables seemed limited. One portion was enough for my wife and me to share with some to go (However, we did have 3 appetizers). The value was very fair.

Got the Peking duck to go. It was about $56 but it was worth it!! It was good with the pancake that comes with it. They didn’t skimp out on the food they gave a large amount of soup with the leftover duck and extra white rice on the side as well. I would definitely get it again!

I hate giving negative reviews, especially to locally owned spots, but despite coming here since I was a kid we’ve had to stop.
Twice now when ordering pickup I’ve arrived at the time they told me to and checked in and been told that my order is almost ready. Then waited 20+ minutes only to be told they are actually not able to make one of the two entres I ordered.
I can excuse running out of things, but to be told that after my order was accepted, after I waited for the pickup time, after I was told my order was actively being made, and after then waiting an additional 20+ minutes after checking in at the desk for my pickup just means they were not being honest that my order was even being worked on at all and that shows a clear lack of respect for customer’s time.
The fact that this has happened not once, but twice in the last few months indicates that clearly there is a severe lack of communication between the front desk and the kitchen.
I’ve been coming here for 15+ years since I was a kid, but I unfortunately won’t be back.

first impression, the decor of this place looks very good and seems to be more upscale then your regular chinese restaurant.
we ordered szechuan wontons as an app, szechuan beef and house of chow beef as our mains, the wontons were great, same with the beef although we felt that the portion of beef could have been bigger. the dishes were very good though, and we appreciated the free refills of rice.
the staff were very friendly and we loved the bowl of fortune cookies that we could grab on our way out!

Their food is decent but their prices are ridiculous. $114 on delivery for my wife and I. Outrageous! We have ordered here several times and their prices just keep going unreasonably up. We will never be ordering from here again. And be sure our family and friends will not either.Your greed, House of Chow, has costed you several customers.

Terrible service! 0 star if I can give. I went to this restaurant for dinner, and even though there were only three or four tables occupied, I waited more than 20 minutes without anyone taking my order. I didn’t even get water. Meanwhile, two tables that arrived after me had their orders taken right away. I am absolutely convinced there is serious racial discrimination happening among the staff. I cannot believe an Asian restaurant would discriminate against Asian customers. it’s outrageous.
I strongly recommend avoiding this place. I can responsibly say the food here is terrible and nowhere close to authentic Chinese cuisine. Stay away from this restaurant.

They have a large menu that has both American and traditional Chinese items. It was odd that one of the dishes did not come with any rice. This would not have been noticeable if the dish was not overly salty. The customer service was pretty much nonexistent for the entire meal. The staff was not rude, but they did not come off as friendly either.

One of the best Chinese options in Columbia. Higher end prices, but the food reflects it. It is not your typical $5.95 lunch combo place. Fair warning, the service was abysmal at best, but the food was worth putting up for it. The egg drop soup was outstanding and had great well developed flavor. I’ll be back as long as I don’t get the same server.

I’m typically not a negative reviewer but I feel compelled. I grew up coming here often and it being my favorite Chinese restaurant in Como – no longer the case. Food is completely changed and not nearly the quality it used to be. Ordered crab rangoon, wontons, sweet and sour chicken, and pork belly with smoked tofu. All of it pretty subpar (crab rangoon was ok). I also ordered char siu pork customized, but they didn’t alter it all. I called and asked if they could fix it, the person on the phone said yes bring it back no problem, but when I got there a different person pushed back and said the chef doesnt customize it and this is due to online ordering discrepancies. I appreciate them at least giving me a refund for that dish, hence the two stars. Not sure what’s happened, but sad to say after coming here for 20+ years, this is a wrap.

Additional ratings for decor and the inventive menu. The menu has a big list of options for all food items, providing range in Appetizers and Entrees along with Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian options. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The spice level is mild.. so people with a bigger palate for spice need to have to ask to pump it up. In totality a good dining option.
