My wife and I come to Leavenworth every year, and consider ourselves pretty knowledgeable about everything the town has to offer, yet somehow we have missed this charming little gem! Granted, it’s only been here for a year and a half, but that goes to show that you can’t take anything for granted in this charming little town!
Ours, although brief, was a wonderful experience. Initially hesitant to enter, as we had a full squad of kids with us, including two babies in a double-stroller, and two pre-teens, but we were welcomed in anyway, and assured that minors were allowed. My wife and I were introduced to the (extensive) menu of champagnes available, selected one that catered to our individual tastes, and were both impressed with our selections: a dry white, and a rosé (whose names I have shamefully forgotten, but I don’t think you can go wrong with any choice here).
The ambiance within is gorgeous; our server – phenomenal, knowledgeable and welcoming; and the view of the Christmas lights on Front Street is pretty darn good. This would be an excellent place to get away from the crowd during the Christmas Tree lighting event, watching from just across the street, warm and toasty (and a little toasted!), and without being crushed by the crowds. Our previous favorite hidey-hole for watching the festivities (The Loft) may have a competitor in future years, especially since we can’t bring the kids up there! Seating is limited though (or it would be, during peak busy season), so get their early to snag a spot!
Our Leavenworth trip happened to coincide with one of the worst storms (& flooding) that the region has seen in a long time, so the entire town was sparsely populated with tourists, meaning we were the only ones at the House of Champagne at the time. Probably a good thing for us, with so many kids in tow; I wouldn’t want to haul all of them in when it was busy and annoy the other patrons, but seeing Leavenworth that empty, two weeks before Christmas, can’t be good for the local economy.
As things bounce back, keep that in mind, and be sure to look out for stellar local places like this which, as I said before, can be easy to miss, even for us regulars. House of Champagne is exactly the kind of place you want to see thrive in a town like Leavenworth, so take my advice: don’t miss it!

Amazing experience to add to a Leavenworth weekend. We came here because the ambience and decor has a dark European flair. The location rests on a corner view of the main street so you can enjoy the Christmas lights. We came for our Anniversary and chose to wait here while we were in a waiting line for 60 min or more for a dinner reservation. It was perfect to reminisce our memories of being married as making a beautiful memory. Bridget served us and was friendly and knowledgeable about the Champagne she served us. Perfect place for celebrating an Anniversary, date-night or girls-night-out.

This place was incredible. The staff is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and make great recommendations. My wife LOVED the champagne flights. You get a discount if you buy a bottle of one of the champagnes from the flight. She ended up buying a bottle and is excited to pop it open later this week. We are already looking forward to coming back and visiting this little shop. By far and away one of the best places in Leavenworth to visit. If you like champagne….this is your dream store.

Great experience totally different from the classic Leavenworth vibe. Total maximalist energy which is amazing. The Pol Roger champagne is delicious! There aren’t many options when it comes to food… the premade charcuterie boards were gone and there’s small wine chips or nuts. Definitely a stop on your trip!

Best part of Leavenworth! Must visit if you are a champagne/sparking wine lover. Also if you want beer you’re one and only option, rightfully so, is miller high life!
The owner was very helpful with our flight tastings (and we had the best white prosecco!) and she also gave us some great recommendations for food/drinks for after hours. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is truly a GEM.
The atmosphere and selection is wonderful. This was the highlight of our weekend! It wasn’t packed shoulder to shoulder but so cozy and the atmosphere felt a little elevated and fun. Champagne and macrons were wonderful!
The true draw to this place was the woman working. Truly she was so kind and made our weekend away from kids so special. Her knowledge of champagne is incredible but not condescending. My husband was able to describe a champagne he had while in the military 20 years ago in Dubai and she instantly knew the name just based on the flowers he described on the bottle.

Stopped in Leavenworth for a few hours, to enjoy the German-styled architecture. Street parking is available. Most stores are walkable. Came across this quaint bar, House of Champagne. It is a very cozy spot. The owner was cheerful and greeted us when we entered, gave us menus and took our drink order immediately; shortly thereafter we were served. The vibe was nice and the bottles and decor are pretty. Well thoughtout. If ever in Leavenworth, I’d stop in; and a good recommendation for those who want a quiet alternative to a sports bar.
