Came here for lunch. My husband ordered two Cajun BLTs on honey whole wheat bread, and I ordered a vegetarian version of the Sunrise on basil Parmesan bread. Instead of any sort of meat, they put slices of avocado. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bread choice paired extremely well with all the ingredients in the sandwich. Service was really fast, we only waited 5 min after seating down. The location wasn’t too crowded either.

4 weeks ago my sister told me about the raspberry cinnamon rolls at House of Bread and when I tried them I was hooked. It was succulent and decadent and moist and ooey gooey and that raspberry gave it a sort of tart and sweet experience like it was me picking berries in California where it came from 4 weeks ago. I travel all around the country to find the best cinnamon rolls and this by far is my favorite. Thank you House of Bread for making me feel ooey and gooey and cozy all at once. And it was so nice meeting you Jess and the lovely baristas you work with 😉

Great soup and bread, I’ve wanted to come here for a while. Now the place is quite slow with 4 employees and all I ordered was soup and when I went to inquire…. Everyone I could see was packaging up breads and other things to sell. The older lady wasn’t nice when I politely inquired why my soup took so very long. The wait is something people should know…. It shows on other reviews. Good stuff, but be prepared for poor customer service especially from the older lady.

I absolutely love House of Bread! This small bakery is a true gem, and I find myself coming here at least once a month for my favorite Cranky Turkey sandwich on their delicious honey whole wheat bread. The quality is always outstanding, and the service is impressively quick. Whenever I call to place an order, my sandwich is ready and waiting when I arrive, which is so convenient. It feels great to support a local business that consistently delivers amazing food and top-notch service. Highly recommend!

They have been around for years and they are in anchorage too. They have gluten free options. Its got yummy soup n sandwiches to choose from. They have tables for dining in. Its worth checking out. Its healthy food thats yummy

All these bad reviews have to be trolls everything here is really good and fresh. All the staff are always friendly and very kind. The menu is organized and accurate. My orders have never been wrong. I come in almost daily for lunch at my work and it has never failed me

The food is solid and prices are acceptable. Many times however; it feels like customers are a nuisance to the staff. Management needs to work on the customer facing aspect of their team to improve the dining experience.
