Ordered rib tips they tasted old, wasn’t fresh they heated them up in the microwave, the sauce was the best thing smoking, I had been passing this place for a while and wanted to try it out, I will not be going back,meat had no seasoning and was dark from sitting all day, the 2 guys was cool loved the customer service if they had a real grill master it would have made a big difference taste more like baked ribs no grill taste at all.
I’m a country boy so we know what real BBQ taste like.
One thing for sure it was really quiet and peaceful in there no customers just 2 guys chopping it up.

Friendly Service. Great BBQ sauce… but the meat itself could be better – tasted a bit old. I will try again to see if there’s an improvement. Love the BBQ sauce. Could drink it with a straw!

Well, I didn’t get anything. I there was an older gentleman sitting up front. He greeted me. I didn’t smell smoke at all. I ordered a pound of rib tips. He got up walked around the corner and I heard the microwave. I left.

Happened to meet Chef Pops and his nephew Larry when I got a flat tire right outside their restaurant. First I would say they are very nice/friendly people and gave me a hand getting things started with the tire. I ended up grabbing wings, rib tips and mac and cheese after the tire was fixed. Really good authentic Detroit BBQ. I will be back. Thank you guys!

On Sept 16th I purchased a slab of pork ribs with Mac and cheese and baked beans as the sides. The Mac and cheese was pretty decent and the beans had sauce applied. The meat was overly tendered so much so the bones were crumbling as if they were over cooked. The taste was bland. There was ample sauce

Actually, I can’t really comment on the food. I’d give a negative number if possible. I ordered through Uber Eats. 20 minute estimated delivery time. After 30 minutes, there was a cascade of drivers cancelling. Finally, they called and said they hadn’t upgraded the app, so they could take orders but couldn’t cancel. Then the young woman on the phone took my order over the phone and said if I canceled the uber order on my end, they’d deliver. 15 minutes she said. I call 30 minutes later to be told, “Oh, I was supposed to call you. Rib tips aren’t done yet. I guess you should order from somewhere else.”
The place is a joke. Don’t bother.

I had a 1/2 piund of rib tips and six wings. Next time, I know to get more rib tips. A 1/2 pound isn’t nearly enough. The BBQ sauce is excellent.

I ordered a 1/2 slab…The ribs look like pulled pork with a ton of bar-be-que sauce..he said he steam the ribs…the bones were so soft you can just stir them with the meat…just awful….
