Staff is super friendly. Would rate it more 3.5 than a 4.
Came here on a Friday night for take out. Ordered combo plate of boneless bbq spare ribs with pork fried rice, large wonton egg drop soup, and pork lo mein with pork fried rice.
First off there were only four wontons in the whole large egg drop soup. Normally when you order this, Chinese places give you so many wontons. However the soup was tasty as is.
The pork lo mein was good, typical taste. The spare ribs were tasty and larger cut than were used to.
The pork fried rice needed help. Needed more seasoning, and the peas tasted a tad stale.
The combo plates each come with an app and we both had crab Rangoons. Those were great! Perfect amount of cream cheese and not greasy like you would typically see.

Why are there peas in my rice? General tso is supposed to be spicy but it was only sweet. Egg roll left a greasy aftertaste in my mouth even after putting duck sauce on it. Duck sauce was the best thing I had for dinner. Sorry for the bad review but the food was terrible . Never again.

I got the miso ramen with pork. As someone that has eaten alot of ramen i can tell you it was great! The only part I didnt really prefer was the mushrooms they add. It didn’t ruin the meal or anything but it just felt like I was eating kelp. That’s just personal preference anyway it was still fantastic. And the eggs were literally perfect.

Haven’t been to the House Chen in a long time. When I heard they started to sell ramen bowls I had to try them out. When I went to the restaurant, the inside was remodeled and looked great. I ordered a Mango milk tea and the shoyu ramen. I was very pleased with the flavors of both the meal and the beverage. I am very happy there is a location close to me that sells ramen bowls at a good price.

I wish I could give a zero. Ordered at 5p for a 6p pickup. Showed up at 554p was told it’s an hour wait and they would call us when ready. I have called since 640p with no answer. They still have not called at 740p. Very poor service and the female is absolutely horrible.

I live in the area and I love this Chinese restaurant. And I’m ordering at least 3 times a week, but this one occasion, when I went the person that was behind the counter, he was so disrespectful and rude. He told me grab my food and get out. Because he was trying to explain to me about boba tea but I didn’t know about the juices. I just wanna try. And he had no patience what so ever he should get fired.

Drove in from Caroga. Ordered in person at the store. So did the only other car in the lot. Unfortunately, the counter guy gave me the other families order. I knew I should have opened the bag in the parking lot , but all the staples bag would fall apart. The guy at the counter really seemed checked out. I feel bad for the people waiting in the car next to me coming expecting the order they gave me-it was a big order. So frustrating and avoidable with basic systems. This place can not handle the basics, so I worry what goes on behind that tapestry hiding the kitchen. Avoid House of Chen
