I loved everything about this restaurant! Went for anniversary dinner over the weekend and was blown away. The food was authentic creole food done the right way. Also, the menu changes daily, i believe.

It’s a great place to go, they usually have a band out front outside dining. The inside didn’t have any air conditioning the night we were there, or if they did, it sure wasn’t working. It was 92 at 8pm. Our server either had too many tables or was interested in another table more than ours. I’m from Louisiana so Gumbo is everyone’s own interpretation. But our waiter assured us the check was from New Orleans. Well, it’s a gumbo, and it’s O K. Yup, that’s it. If you’re from somewhere else, and don’t know what gumbo is… you’ll be fine especially if you LOVE SALT. The bbq shrimp and grits are done perfectly for shrimp, but the flavor didn’t compliment the flavorless (instant?) grits. We tried the bread CINNAMON bread pudding, and if you LOVE cinnamon you’re in luck because the must put a box in there. The typical bourbon sauce didn’t do it for me either. I will say the best deal in the house is their 3 whiskey flight for $25… it’s a winner. We will go back, but it’ll be for the atmosphere and burgers. Also take note, the noise level is medium high.

It was a great dining experience. It has a great combination of food, service, and atmosphere. They have creative chef creations to choose from. A nice selection of wine, beer, and cocktails to choose from. Everything tasted great, and our server added to the experience.

We are locals and spontaneously decided to stop here for lunch. We had no idea what we were in for! Apparently they do brunch 1st Sunday of the month and typically need reservations but they were able to squeeze our party of 2 in right away. The service was amazing and the food was delicious, fresh, from scratch, homemade southern goodnesssss!

H’ours is one of THE best restaurants we’ve ever eaten at!! And we’ve eaten all over the US. There’s always something new and exciting on the menu as they reprint the menu daily. You can’t go wrong with anything on the food menu! A few of my favorites are the jambalaya, fish cheeks and chips, gumbo soup and the bread pudding dessert. We usually sit at the bar with Micheal and his old fashions are so delicious. The band playing is always lovely. Thanks, H’ours for always treating us like family ❤️

We had a lovely dinner here. The live music was great, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the food was unique and delicious. I had the butterfish and my fiance’ had the ettoufe’. I would highly recommend both, as well as the fried green tomatoes with crab on top.

Called same day for a Saturday night reservation (highly recommend reservations well in advance) and the only thing available was outside. When we arrived there was a band playing outside . I’ve dined at restaurants with bands playing but this was incredibly loud. We were seated and we couldn’t hear each other. When the server came she had trouble hearing us and we had to yell at each other to communicate. The server was great, very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent and the shrimp and grits appetizer was outstanding. My red snapper was fantastic. Desserts were also very good. I would have given five stars but had to deduct for the excessively loud band (they were actually very talented, just way too loud for a dining experience although some people did not seem to mind). I will definitely be going back but will be sure to make reservations well in advance for inside the restaurant.

We eat here several times a month. The service is always outstanding, like seriously good! And do get me started on the food, oh the food!! They have some staples, but the menu does change frequently, which we love. They have great specials, like rib night or drummy night. We have never had a bad meal here.
