We got there early in the evening, maybe around 8:30 or 9. We got a good table up front. We were some of the first to sign up for karaoke. It was such a fun place. The bar tender was so good! We had a blast. I would go back.

Amazing drinks, great prices, but the one hang up was the DJ. Music choice was antiquated, and his improvisation between songs was so boring, it sobered me up more than an unsolicited advance from a man. When he called one song a snore and then continued to play 9 to 5 I knew he had the musical aptitude of a deep fried Oreo. Additionally, his songs were consistently pitchy. Maybe instead of insulting customers, he could focus more so on a pitch pipe, voice lessons, and a personal stylist that could help him fix his outdated, cheap, bargain rack outfits.
Drinks were great. Vibe was fun. DJ seemed to hate his customers.

So I’m kind of new to this town I’ve been here about 4 months and sometimes I’ll just spend the night walking downtown Springfield stopping in all the places got some music going few extra people maybe I can get to know some people and you know start reading networking anyway so I stopped in and grab some drinks and a little something to eat music was cool paperwork cool down-to-earth prices were reasonable I just couldn’t find myself spending too much extra time there no disrespect to anybody or the people or establishment I’m sure it’s for a lot of people just wasn’t my type of atmosphere to spend the night kickin it having fun mixed signals being throwed off in there turn out bad not for me

First time at Hour House. Didn’t eat but had some delicious and VERY affordable drinks, and awesome fun. Holly and Brian, who are the bartenders and karaoke DJ of this fabulous place are the BEST! See you again at our next overnight at SGF.

Good vibe! One of the top karaoke and drag venues in town. There are a bunch of regulars and college aged people too. It’s a nice mix. There stage, mics, sound and lighting are excellent! Seating is good. There is nothing I have to say negative and I am kinda a negative blunt person. Best bar in town? Quite possibly! Definitely one of my favorites!

Super interesting bar with lots of historic charm. We went on a super busy night, Halloween celebrations. It was packed but the atmosphere seemed nice. They were very welcoming and the Drag Show was a good time. I wasn’t drinking that night, so no comment on the drinks yet.
