Forget normal snow cones where syrup just gets poured over poorly shaved ice that’s still crunchy– Houni’s is next level and I’m ruined for anything else!

I made a bulk order for a client event and our guests LOVED the Italian ice/gelati! Putting Houni’s on our list for future event vendors (and making frequent visits to their Woodruff Rd location ;))

We had Gelati for the first time and we-2 adults and 3 boys- all LOVED it. Very well combination of ice cream & slush. They have various flavors and ones we chose(Moccachino, Horchata, Green Apple) were successful for us. Definitely willing to visit more often.

Hounis is a great place to go, it has a bunch of common and uncommon flavors to choose from!! Personally the Freezes and gelatos are the best!! (Gelatos are Italian ice and ice cream and Freezes are that just mixed!) service is great but if you get a freeze then it will take a little longer!!

The “Coolest” Spot in Town!
Time to add another notch to the belt, boys and girls, because your old man has found a sweet spot that’s truly ice-tacular! My latest adventure took me to Houni’s Italian Ice on Woodruff Road here in Greer, and let me tell you, it was the chillest experience in the best way possible. This place isn’t just good; it’s Italian ice-tastic!
We pulled into the parking lot, and knew we were in for a treat. The vibrant colors of the place just scream “fun!” And the service? Well, let’s just say they were so friendly and efficient, they truly set a new scoop-er duper standard. They were quicker than a squirrel raiding a bird feeder, getting those delicious icy delights into my kids and my eager hands. Houni’s excels in three key areas that make it a must-visit for any dessert enthusiast. First, their flavor variety is absolutely astounding; it’s as if Baskin Robins met it’s match, but in a cup, with something for every single taste bud. Secondly, the smoothness and texture of their Italian ice is unparalleled – not too icy, not too Italian,it’s perfectly refreshing. Third, but certainly not last, their friendly and fast service makes the whole experience a breeze, even on the hottest South Carolina day.
Now, let’s talk about the main event: the Italian ice itself! I went for a cacophony of flavors, and it was so good, it made me want to do the cherry-oke right there on the spot! Each spoonful was a burst of flavor, so refreshing it was like a brain freeze, but in the best possible way. My little one, who’s a tough critic, declared her red white and blue raspberry “the bee’s knees, (but she can’t talk yet )” which, coming from her, is high praise indeed. The consistency was perfect – not too icy, not too slushy, just pure frozen bliss. It’s the kind of treat that makes you feel like a kid again, even if your knees crack when you bend over. I even overheard someone say it was “the best thing since sliced bread… or, well, since sliced Italian bread anyway!”
So, if you find yourself cruising down Woodruff Road and you’re in need of a serious cool-down, or just a sweet pick-me-up, make a beeline for Houni’s Italian Ice. You’ll be glad you did, because this place is truly the cream of the crop! It’s got my stamp of approval, and trust me, when it comes to frozen treats, I’m a real expert-ice! You’ll leave feeling refreshed, happy, and perhaps even ready for a nap.

I’m originally from NY And soft served ice cream is what I’ve missed the most. I am definitely a returning customer and will definitely recommend to everyone. Customer service was great too! Soft served flavors are vanilla, chocolate or swirled.

I thought I knew italian ice until I had this. Their ice tastes fresh and full of flavor. It doesn’t taste water down with a smooth texture. The gelati is layered italian ice with soft serve which makes for a more full and luscious mouth feel. Quick and friendly service.

Yum! We all loved it. It’s similar to Rita’s Italian Ice, but it’s soft serve instead of custard. One of the pictures I added is carmal apple (I think ‍♀️), and the all green one is pistachio with chocolate chips. You can get it with or without the soft serve ice cream. The small is plenty big! Wednesday is double card punch day (they only give you one punch per transaction, 2 on Wednesday).
