Not like how we remembered it. Holihans was our go-to restaurant for special occasions when we were dating. We used to have 2 in Milwaukee many, many years ago but unfortunately they closed down. Had 2 within an hour of us in Illinois but they shut down as well so we planned a getaway weekend and based it around dinner at Holihans. Stuffed mushrooms were great but dipping sauce seemed to have changed it’s recipe from what we remembered. No longer has lettuce wraps on menu as that was a go-to app for us. Stuffed chicken portion seemed smaller than we remembered but price was exactly what we remembered. Atmosphere seemed to be what we’d expect being built onto a casino and parking was readily available but that could be based on we got there early. May travel abit further next getaway and try Minnesota provided the location stays open

Highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms!
Went on a Saturday night and got a table right away. Greeted with friendly service, and a pleasant atmosphere. Ordered the salmon and Mahi Mahi and it was very good. Payed about $25 a meal, but also upgraded the side with soup or salad. My child especially enjoyed the option for chips & salsa as a side.

This was my first time visiting. Been in the area for so long and not sure why I have t visited. ( possibly location)
A group of 5 was easily accommodated, indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. Very nice patio section, lighting, and atmosphere. It’s large, open, yet still intimate. Suitable for groups as well as a date.
Fish and chips were what was recommended from word of mouth and that’s what I went with. Portions were more than generous. Fresh food and prompt we were more than happy with food quality. We will be back.

Houlihan’s offers good food, good service in a fairly generic dining setting. They have some very large cheap drinks here. They were huge but I’m not sure they had a lot of alcohol. But the fact is, if they had been loaded with alcohol they’d been dangerous. The smash burger was good. Our server Sadie did a good job.

We had the wings & sliders. Probably the best mini sliders I have ever had! Cooked medium unlike other places that cook them well done. The Thai chili glaze on the wings Delicious. Our server was great, fun to talk with and the place was packed. Great Job everyone! We will be back for sure!

We are in town for our niece’s event and staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. We invited family out to eat by the hotel since it was along day of traveling. We had a party of 7 that asked for a table at 8:20 and was told 30-40 minute wait, so we all sat at the bar. We all ordered drinks and they were all a sugary mess. The bartender said she was 19 and had no idea what she was doing, the old fashioned was syrupy and red, even my beer was poured into a hot glass, so every drink was messed up. I attached the empty pictures because this was how the restaurant looked when we were finally seated. EMPTY! So why did we have to wait the full 40 minutes to an hour for our table? The staff was unbelievably rude. Our waiter was Blake and I watched him snatch the menu from my mother-in-law’s hand. I would not recommend this restaurant. I usually try and only post good reviews but every now and then I have such a terrible experience that they deserve the bad review.

Love this place. We’ve been eating there for a few years now when we visit dubuque. Patio is a great area to eat. Staff is all very friendly. Nice clean tables. The food is excellent. The mushrooms appetizer is so delicious.
We always have a good experience here. This time, the CEO, Alex came to our table to say hi & introduce himself. Asked us how everything was. Very nice man & we really appreciated that.

Food wasn’t great, waiter was great. Atmosphere was relatively quiet, not too loud. Was busy, but service was still exceptional. Only complaint was the hostess was kinda rude and not helpful, that Is literally the description of your job.
