We truly think we’ve found a nice, calm restaurant for our Friday nights. My boyfriend and I had such a lovely dinner at Houlihan’s of Paramus, NJ. The wings were absolutely amazing, and the three-course dinner was delicious from start to finish (even though we forgot to take pictures of everything!).
A huge thank you to Vern, our waiter, for his outstanding hospitality. He checked in on us just the right amount, made friendly jokes, and everything about his service felt genuine. His hospitality really made our night that much better.
Between the great food, relaxed atmosphere, and wonderful service, this is definitely a place we’ll be coming back to.
Thank you again, Houlihan’s of Paramus we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Came here with my mom who was craving prime rib. I had the ribs and we started with the firecracker cauliflower – all were very good. I also had a side caesar salad and the salted caramel butter cake – both also very good. The service was excellent and it was a great time overall.

I had an amazing experience at Houlahan’s, and our server John T made it even better. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. He took the time to make great recommendations, and I’m so glad I listened — the prime rib was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor (compliments to the chef, Nelly)!
John also recommended the butter cake for dessert, and it was phenomenal — easily one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time. He checked in at just the right moments, made sure everything was perfect, and created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere without ever being intrusive.
Exceptional service like John’s really makes a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back and hope to be seated in his section again. Highly recommend!

Our server John was the BEST!! We had a party of 10, with some handicapped guests attending so the staff made sure to accomidate our seating to the first floor. John was very kind and patient with us being such a big party and us asking questions. All of our food and drinks came out fast with and with impeccable service! The food of course was the best part, everything tasted amazing- from the drinks, to the appetizers, to mains, then dessert– it was all perfect. We come here every year and they are pretty consistent depending on how busy the restaurant gets but we will continue to come again! Thank you again John for making our dining experience memorable, he was definitely the best server we have had here.

I go to this Houlihans every week and it never disappoints! They have the best burgers, French onion soup, and the steak quesadillas are usually my go-to. Everything is served quickly and delicious. Most importantly, the service is amazing! Kim G., who we affectionately call “Kimmy”, at the bar is the most attentive and fun bartender I’ve ever met! She’s awesome, and did I mention that she makes a great drink?? Her skills speak for themselves when drinking one of her old fashioned-s. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Ordered a prime rib that came out well ordered it medium rare. Then was told the prime ribs are made in the morning so they can’t come out medium rare that should’ve been divulged before meal was ordered. I was starving so decided to eat it and it was so dry i. Ouldmt even eat half. The food has really gone downhill. Crème brûlée came out cold no sugar crunchy top. When you have longhorn in Texas roadhouse right down the corner, I would suggest eating elsewhere

My sister Gina treated me to an early lunch today at this location and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Especially taking into account the fact that the last time we were at Houlihan’s was Christmas Eve 2019 at the one in Hasbrouck Heights where our family had been regulars for many years and it totally sucked unfortunately but that is neither here nor there at this point in time. This particular lunch at the Paramus location was a whole ‘nother trip and a great one in every possible way. Our server, Giselle, was personable, professional and at the very top of her game therefore she is indisputably an exemplary member of your restaurant chain who is to be commended and deserves every accolade imaginable. The overall ambience and the atmosphere in general was warm, friendly, welcoming and just plain comfortable. Even the music that was being played while we were eating was thoroughly enjoyable. As far as the food goes, my sister Gina had the Heartland Chicken Salad, which has always been one of her favorites, done her way with grilled chicken along with her own various specifications and stipulations and she loved it. I opted for the SoCal Fish Tacos, instead of my once upon a time usual Pot Roast or Buffalo Chicken Tenders, and they were nothing less than luscious. We both had unsweetened iced tea to drink and were ultimately way too full for dessert this time around but we did take an order of Shrooms to go for a family friend. After all is said and done we definitely look forward to dropping in more often and thank you kindly again to Giselle for her impeccable service and also to the rest of the staff as well. Unsolicited testimonial, folks. Cheers!✌ P.S. My sister Gina and I stopped in for supper this evening aka Thursday 08/07 and once again everything was absolutely delicious and on point from start to finish, not to mention a big shout-out to Antonio for his excellent service as well.
