As for service, tbh eh could have explained the process for ordering a little better, as we would have ordered differently.
Atmosphere seems a little close to everything, but not bad for this type of restaurant, considering the space.
After cooking our own food, we left with a strong smell of meat and cooking oil after we left—wanted an immediate shower afterwards.
It’s AYCE so if you can’t or don’t eat alot, it’s not worth the visit. I had read where you could make ala cart purchases and that is what I was looking forward too. That , I was informed is no longer an option.
My daughter and grandson enjoyed it. My granddaughter of 5, ate free.
You grilled your meat at the table.
If you like hot pot and bar b que give it a try.
We had two servers, Dan and Diane. They both were very attentive. It was our first time here so Dan was knowledgeable and explained how to order food. Diane was friendly and easy going, we ordered something incorrectly, but she understood what we needed and was able to provide easily.
We were sat right away. The soups were per person so we were able to order two different types and try them out.
The add-ins were near the front of the store in a freezer. It seemed like it was really cold because the veggies froze to the bottom of the container.
We were only going to get hotpot, but the grill was only 3 dollars more so we upgraded to that. The meats were great.
The only problem I have it with the atmosphere was really lackluster. They had TVs on the wall that didn’t show anything. And there was no decorations anywhere.
Service its great
But server never refill my drink
Its not really busy
Try few different meat for hotpot and bbq
Pretty much taste the same.
Maybe should provide more sauces
Overall its great place
We got hotpot and Korean bbq. If you’ve been to other hot pot places like Chinatown then you’ll find this place’s hotpot selection very lacking. I got bone broth and it was very very salty. As for the seasoned meat for the bbq, it wasn’t fresh at all.
The only good thing was the service. The young American waiter was very helpful!
DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEY
We will never set foot in this greedy, utterly family unfriendly place again, and I mean that with every fiber of my being. The entire experience turned what should have been a joyful meal into a frustrating battle over unfair policies that punish children for simply growing a little taller than some arbitrary line on a tape. Management clearly has no understanding of what it means to welcome families, and their stubborn insistence on this exploitative rule ruined our evening completely.
I urge every parent reading this to avoid this nightmare at all costs. Protect your hard earned money and your children’s sense of fairness by steering clear entirely. To the owners and managers: wake up, rethink your heartless approach, and get rid of that stupid measuring tape before you alienate every decent family in the area for good.
