Went here to watch the Iron Bowl. I gotta the Nashville hot chicken with fries and some spicy aioli. I would definitely recommend sharing; you get so much food here. The chicken and the fries were seasoned HEAVILY & were both really good. I would definitely go back.

This spot is great. Gal at the counter made ordering super straight forward and quick, and brought us the food inside Good People which was really nice to see they do that. Food is indeed pretty pricey but it’s delicious. Worth the cost imo.

Chicken sandwich wasn’t cooked through and we had to throw it out. The burger and disco fries were mediocre. I really wanted to try the asian fusion food on the online menu, but the menu was limited in person to burger, fries, or chicken. Didn’t live up to the hype at all

Not Asian inspired. The food was good but this is American cuisine. It was enjoyable but I selected this spot and walked here and bought multiple things because I was interested in their Asian inspired offerings. This is another example of southern chefs taking Japanese dishes and completely white washing them. I ordered the burger which was delicious but just a burger, perhaps it was not intended to be Japanese influenced. The soba bowl however was disappointing. The soba noodles were cut into small pieces which fundamentally goes against the tradition of soba noodles which should be kept long and slurped. Much harder to eat when they are cut up. Sounds silly but it’s an essential part of eating a soba dish. The chicken add on was completely unseasoned. Like zero seasoning whatsoever. Lastly, it was 50% broccoli, the tiny little freezer bag brocolli that had no flavor and tasted frozen. Come here for the vibes and a great burger but do not come here for Asian flavor cause you won’t find it – at least not in the dishes I had.

HotBox (often styled as “Hot Box at Parkside” or simply HotBox) is a small but striking gem tucked behind Parkside bar in Birmingham’s Avondale neighborhood. What begins as a modest Airstream-style trailer evolves into something much more special once you venture out into the adjacent garden patio—with picnic tables, string lights, and soft evening glow lending a cozy, relaxed vibe.

Food was phenomenal. Wings were delicious. Got the loaded fries, the beer cheese is the best ever.

If you’re at Good People, it’s a great way to get food. They even brought it inside to the table. Great service and food!

Atmosphere was great minus all the screaming, unsupervised children. Food was very good and the service is super neat. You order via a QR code and pick up when it is done.

Fries/Disco fries were amazing, the saukraut Dawgs horrendous. They tasted sour, something definitely off. An hour later and still going I am sick as a dog. It was the only thing i ate today, and my party shared everything else. Its definitely food poisoning. Not amused!
