My husband went to Hot Wok in Tylertown for 1st time. It’s mostly carry-out food. There are very few tables to eat in. We had the Chicken and broccoli dinner. I had the Pepper Steak. Both dinners came with fried rice and an egg roll. Everything was very good. Egg rolls were crispy and delicious. The place was really busy while my husband was there.

I just went there and ordered the garlic chicken. When I got home, there was nothing but oily water on it I took it back and told the Woman that this was not garlic chicken this was oil in Water. She argued with me and said what do you want me to do about it? I told her I want you to give me some sauce on it She jerked it up, called her husband, and he started making some sauce, but she turned her back to me And it looked like she was touching it When I got home, the sauce was on it, but I threw it away The food is terrible and she is so rude and unfriendly The place is always a mess. I wish that they would put someone here that could open a good Chinese restaurant This one should leave and go somewhere else. . If she hates being here so bad and wants to be so rude to the paying customers then quit taking our money and leave !! I would not recommend this place to anyone

When I entered the restaurant, it was quite quiet and disorganized. That was red flag number one. I ordered the beef and broccoli and bourbon chicken. I didn’t get a chance to eat my food because I overheard someone in the back coughing multiple times loudly, so it made me lose my appetite. That was red flag number two. On top of that, the woman who took my order didn’t seem very friendly. I wouldn’t recommend going here, and this place looks like a dump. The food I ordered didn’t go to waste. I gave it to the neighborhood cat, who seemed to enjoy it. I should have just canceled my order, but that’s $20 I lost.

Came in with my family and paid just over $30 for the four of us to eat. For the amount we paid we all received perfectly sized portions and even had leftovers to bring home. While the food was delicious and worth every penny. The lobby only had one available table for customers due to the rest of the lobby being used as storage for the store and the homework/art area for their kids. It was also very hot in the lobby and they had no boosters or high chairs for children to use and we ended up holding our toddler the entire time.
