As a single dad, I try to order outside of “busy” times, cause i try to make it easy and have hot food. But every time I order, I know the food is good, hot and fresh, when it leaves. This place is great!…. If the dasher takes on 3 more orders otw, is a different story.

Ordered two meals the fried chicken wings with house rice and general tso chicken combo and upgraded to house rice. It was Pure disappointment everything was bland. The house rice that I paid extra for did not come with Vegetables. It did not have carrots or onions and only got two pieces of shrimp. When I called to let them know the young guy at the register just sighed heavily on the phone with an attitude. Y’all just spend your money else where the food was not that great and there are other Chinese restaurants in the area that taste better and you get better quality of food.

The food used taste good. They haven fallen off so bad the past two years. Today purchased fried wings that had no flavor just grease taste. Sesame Chicken (supposed to be white meat) over cooked and rubbery. Shrimp fried rice mushy. Shrimp and broccoli just ok . Cost was $34 and that was because I made it 5 mins before lunch special ended otherwise it would have been $49. I can’t risk giving them any more chances.

Hot Wok Chinese Restarunt in 103rd has been around for 20 years+ and i gotta say it is really good Chinese food! Back in the day around 2004 – 2020 i used to love coming here all the time with my Grandparents, and my Parents!! My grandpa Found this Place As well, and he enjoyed the food here!!! We used to order all the time Chicken Wings with Pork Fried Rice and Chicken Brocolloi majority of the time! The Quality of Food was amazing back then in the 2000s!! Staff was amazing and Great Food! However i notice over the year there was a sharp decline in the food.. I am unsure if management changed over the years or so, But there was a point we stopped going to 103rd Hot wok because we wasn’t living around the area to get it. However i still manage to visit the restarunt time to time. During the Pandamic Since Most Chinese Restarunts Closed, This one kept its door open still to serve happy Customers!!! One day i came to order Boneless Spare Rib tips and it was Delicious!!! the Serving White Rice was alot!!! and Tons of Rib tips and i manage to finish it within the few days!!! I Recently Went back again to see how the business is doing, on July 2nd 2023. When i came to the Resturant it didn’t look like the same as before… They have Blocked portion of the place. They used to be able to dine inside but they blocked that since 2020, The Atomosphare of it felt very off, I order White Rice ans Chicken Wings. After i order there was a customer who was really really unhappy with the food, and said the Competitor Hot Wok in Normandy is Way better!!!, I recieved my food and went home. I opened my food and i wasn’t satisfied with my order… The Chicken Wings I recieved were not the Great Shape i expected them to be… There was Grade B wings, The Wings were Unshaped for some reason, Cheap Wings imo, the Portion of White Rice was Piss Poor… The only gave me a Tiny Cup worth of White Rice in my Bowl… Majority of Chinese Restarunts i go to Fill my White Rice Up to the brim! The Quality of the Food was Not that Great… 5/10… There Other 103rd Chinese Restarunts… i Recommand you guys Trying Panda Chinese Food 103rd/ Obento Chinese Food 103rd.

I ordered Uber eats I was cheated out of my food quality despite the high price. I wouldn’t recommend. I will be going in person when possible because it’s to expensive to not get what you paid for especially without asking for extra. no sauce, or fortune cookies just poor in general. Also the egg rolls were very small not normal size for the price. I honestly want a refund. I don’t wanna eat this it said 6 but I’m sure I can count & I do food reviews often for a reason…this sucks hungry but won’t eat this

Fresh crispy & very tasty fried chicken. The chicken and brocolli was great! The sauce on the meat & vegetables compliment the rice beautifully. The french fries are crunkle cut and are cooked to perfection. Never over cooked and too brown or hard and crunchy. The fries are always soft with a toasted crunch upon the first bite.
