We sat down at 6:30pm, ordered our drinks as well as waters. Waitress never brought waters even though we asked multiple times. We ordered our food around 6:35pm. The waitress then never returned to our table, even though all of our drinks were empty for about 50 mins. When the waitress finally returned to our table around 7:45pm, we ordered another round of drinks as we were STILL waiting for our food. 5 mins later she asks if we ever got our food… when we said no, she then claimed there was a “system glitch” so our food was never put in. Everyone around us for the last hour had been receiving their meals and being served, so it was clear she just never put our food in. She then asked “do you remember what you ordered” …. At this point we were starving, it was now past 8pm, and we were over it. We paid for our first drinks, cancelled the 2nd round, and left. Truly so disappointing.

Me and my buddies were visiting CT and was craving for some Mexican food. We stopped by at Hot Tamale to grab lunch. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was prompt and our server was very great. There is plenty of parking outside.
Tip: they have happy hours from 3 pm and margaritas were $5. Overall, we enjoyed our food.

We are OBSESSED with this place! Our whole family stopped in for dinner, and let me tell you—it was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we walked in, the vibes were warm and welcoming, and the food? Next level! The fajitas came out sizzling hot, packed with bold, fresh flavors that hit all the right notes. Every bite was a flavor explosion! Even the kids’ meals were impressive—generous portions, great taste, and left our little food critics smiling from ear to ear. But the real star? The Tex-Mex. Hands down the best we’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and absolutely unforgettable. We’re already planning our next visit!

I’ve been wanting to find a taco Tuesday spot for a while now and this place takes the cake! They have a medium variety of tacos and a good drink menu as well. The portion sizes are the best bang for your buck in the state! I highly recommend this restaurant for their friendly service and great food.

Visited the restaurant with friends. Service was very slow. We asked our server about the slow service and was told she was a fill in as the owner was getting married and the staff was invited to the wedding. We waited forever for our drinks and was charged for a drink we never received. When we finally got our food order only 3 out of 4 meals were delivered but 2 of them were not what we ordered. We waited longer to get the correct order. My burrito was fair and the two sides were minuscule portions. The server was apologetic but overwhelmed. I blame the owner for opening knowing they were understaffed. Plus the restaurant was stuffy as the air conditioning was not turned on. I will never return.

One the these restaurants where the outside of it is deceiving. The environment and the inside of the restaurant is dope. I had the taco salad which was good. Just a bit of seasoning in the beef, would take it to another level. They have great deals which is always a plus. I like this.

I ordered the Chicken Chimichanga with sides of sour cream, hot sauce, guacamole, and pico de gallo—sauces are a must for me. But honestly, the Chimichanga didn’t need anything extra. It was perfectly crispy and flavorful on its own. Alomg with the rice and beans, the meal was plentiful, so much so that I had to share. For dessert, I got an Apple Chimi, and it did not disappoint. Imagine fried dough meeting apple pie filling—delicious! I tried it both warm and cold; it was good either way, but warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream? Pure bliss. The delivery was quick, and the food arrived crispy, not soggy.
