I had the BEST Lunar New Year celebration at Hot Spot! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm, lively, and so inviting. The service was fantastic. Evelyn and Brenna were super attentive, checking in just the right amount and making helpful suggestions when we asked about specials. They made everything feel seamless, so we could just focus on enjoying the food and drinks.
Speaking of food… HOT POT HEAVEN. I loved the all-you-can-eat selection here which included unlimited meats, seafood, fresh veggies, noodles, and more. My go-to broth will always be the tom yum! It is bold, flavorful, and pairs perfectly with literally everything here. For about $14.99-$19.99, you can upgrade your hot by adding premium A5 wagyu, snow crab, or a whole lobster. It’s so worth it!
For Lunar New Year, Hot Spot is running a deal right now where you buy 3 drinks, get 1 free, which is perfect for trying a few different ones! All in all, I can’t recommend Hot Spot enough. I’ll absolutely be coming back again and again!

Food is mediocre: meat is fine, the vegetables & squid doesn’t taste fresh and are slightly sour, especially the bamboo shoot, definitely not fresh. The fish balls are the fake kind, I do not recommend. Also the broth is so blend, mushroom broth having one SINGULAR mushroom.
The table design is weird, the pot is too close to body. The waiter is very nice though.
They charge dinner price for all day on weekends. This is being written quite small on the menu, so be aware.
I don’t regret stopping by but would not return.

This is a great AYCE hot spot. I read some reviews about the broth being bland when they ordered the mushroom broth. I ordered the spicy mala broth and that was almost perfect. I have been here numerous times and the consistency in the broth is great too. I have tried numerous hot pot places and this is hands down my favorite place. The quality of meat is great. The selection of seafood offers shrimp, octopus, crayfish, flounder, claims, etc. The veggie selection is good and fresh. The sauce bar offers fresh garlic, green onions, green peppers, and cilantro.. The service is attentive. The manager/owner checks to see if you are doing good which I find refreshing. If you are looking for the entire package in an AYCE hot pot place then I recommend going here. I would rank this place as the best NOVA AYCE hot pot place and gom shabu shabu as the best non AYCE option. Order the spicy mala broth if you like spice!
I forgot to mention you can choose family style (big shared pot) ot individual per person pot. I always choose individual so I can’t elaborate on family style. And there is a lunch price and a dinner price on weekdays and all day price on weekends. I think the difference is $5 and dinner/weekend offers the complete menu. The lunch menu has a wide selection too and is less crowded. So I recommend trying this place out for the first time at lunch!

Friend and I had not been at a hot pot before. We didn’t care for the food too much. The scallops tasted too fishy to me. The broth were bland. I saw the great reviews when checking out this establishment but I don’t see the hype.
The bathroom set up is quite strange to me. And why are the bathrooms so dirty? I have seen 7/11s bathrooms cleaner than these.
Service was okay. Waitress was nice. Wish she had given more directions or thoughts on how to make the food better. She didn’t check on us as often as I thought she would have after we recieved the food.
I do have to say that the house sauce was the only thing that helped the flavor of the soup and meat.
We asked for smaller than normal portions as my friend and I do not eat that much and wanted the opportunity to try more things. I don’t think what we got would have been considered small portions for 2 people- but okay.
This place either did not hit the mark or my friend and I just found out we don’t like hot pot. ♀️

Neat place where you have your own self service burners to boil your broth and cook at the table. The mushroom broth was good. Vegetables were fresh. There wasn’t a lot of sauces to pick from. The proteins that they give are in small portions esiecually shrimp and scallops. Ambiance is okay, there was a stall where it was cordoned off with yellow tape like a crime scene, just looked messy for a dining place.

The food is always good. The music is pumping. The vibe is perfect.
We were so excited to be back after a rona hiatus, that I forgot to take pics of the food before we dumped it in the pot of broth.
It’s my numero uno hot pot place to go to.
Staff are friendly, attentive and professional and food is consistently good.
Will say the wait time could be long because it’s really popular, so be prepared for a wait if it’s a wknd.

Very cute hot pot place! The food was all very good. The individual hot pot bowls are great and the veggie broth is gluten free. They also have a sauce bar where the gluten free options are marked so you can spice up the broth if you want. The brisket meat was delicious and the service was excellent. The music was a bit too loud, hard to talk over. If you’re hard of hearing I wouldn’t recommend it.
