HOT SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!!
This is our favorite Middle Eastern food in Buffalo…not only for the delicious taste, but also the value. I’m not 100% certain if they’re Yemeni, but that’s the impression I got.

We’ve ordered from here twice, but definitely plan on more. The first time we got beef biryani $10, a whole chicken for $20 and various flatbreads. It makes me super happy that they sell their flatbreads by the whole piece and they’re a great price at $2.49. A lot of places sell you “one piece” at the same price or more and it turns out to be a half. Their naan is HUGE!! We were very, very happy with everything…so we always planned on ordering again.

This most recent time we ordered chicken over rice $12, akdha (stewed chicken, chili, with potatoes) with included flatbread $18. And I added a naan because they’re so delicious and generous. It’s not only their naan that’s generous, all their portions are huge and definitely worth the price. You can get three meals out of each dish.

Once again, we were super happy with everything and can’t wait to try more. They have a lot of Arabic food that I know nothing about, but am excited to try!

Their wings are absolutely disgusting. We ordered 30 pieces of wings, which tasted like robber because they were precooked. Probably was sitting for too long, and the wings weren’t the original size. I had food poisoning and ended up vomiting for the night. STAY AWAY

Ordered a small chicken hoagie and somehow the dude told me it was a large one, this is my 2nd day ordering the same thing and today they made the mistake of giving me a larger and and aggressively making me pay the price without telling me “ okay I’m sorry we’ll make you a smaller one” . This isn’t the first time this has happened and there were worser mistakes before this with pizzas and there other dish and burned bread. 100% would not recommend.

Today I bought three samosas, and they were spoiled and smelled bad. When I told them about it, they said that this can happen.!but they gave me a refund.

Hot Spot is a nice place overall. The food is good, and the service is decent. I’ve enjoyed the taste and the quality of what they serve.

But one thing that should be fixed — they don’t charge tax on the food. That’s something important for any food business to do properly. Hopefully they take care of that soon.

Besides that, they’re fine and worth checking out.

I have just started coming here but I wish I knew about it sooner. Everything is halal even the pizza I believe. There is very little grease on the pizza so you know they use good ingredients. The curries are delicious and better than most restaurants that cost much more

This is absolutely ridiculous if I could rate it a 0 I would. My daughter was eating her food to find a cooked roach in her gyro rice while eating. She threw up many times, I called them abt it and they just denied it saying it was a mushroom. Clearly not.

It’s so bad, we brought 2 packs of gyro each $11 and they gave us chunky mushrooms with no meat in sight. Bro if you gonna call it a gyro at least keep its honor. You had rather buy a bag of basmati from Buffalo fresh and make biryani at home. Your money would be worth it more.Allah tala forgive us. Sorted mushroom with little bit kema cost total $37 it’s called hot spot gyro .. please save your hardworking money . Don’t go there . Allah talah os the witness .
