The vibe of this place is super cool and they have an extensive cocktail menu as well as happy hour and lunch specials.
The presentation of the food was lovely, however, the taste (for me) was kind of MEH. It was fine, nothing special. The mushroom soup had very mushrooms and the sushi was OK.
I think the prices are a little too high comparatively.

My husband and I had a great experience with both service and food! I’m pregnant so sushi options are limited. Our sever had extensive knowledge of the menu and was able to offer suggestions and easy tweaks to rolls if necessary. We really enjoyed everything we ordered and can’t wait to be back!

The husband and I figured we’d finally give this place a try for lunch as we’d been hearing great things about Hot Sake! From the service, the food and the atmosphere, everything is incredible! Our waitress was so sweet and awesome at giving us some recommendations. We ordered pot stickers, 3 different sushi rolls and finished it off with some creme brulee! Everything was amazing and we will definitely be back!

Awesome place! It is not an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, but the quality is outstanding. Their amazing service perfectly complements their exotic and modern fusion flavors.
I had a salmon dish with a miso glaze sauce—it felt like a continental explosion of flavors. They also offer a selection of sushi rolls; in my case, I ordered the new The King Shrimp, which was an indescribable delight with the crispy touch of fried shrimp.

Such an amazing experience! The owner is so involved and is great at customer service. The presentation is everything! The service is beyond incredible! As someone with celiac disease I cannot say how amazing it is to have their gluten free menu and have such attention to detail. The owner knew I was gluten free and even brought me a gluten free sauce. The food is fresh, beautiful, and delightfully flavorful. This was our third time there and each time keeps getting better. We had a party of 10 for a birthday party and we had refills and anything else we needed within minutes. Exceptional!

The BEST sushi in the area. The owner is extremely friendly and genuine. The food is amazing. Arguably a little more expensive, but you are definitely receiving the quality you’re paying for! The food quality, employee service, hospitality, and the atmosphere are all amazing. I would highly recommend Hot Sake Sushi for lunch or dinner!

I’ve been to this restaurant 3 times now, it has become my favorite restaurant in Green Bay! The sushi is fantastic, the fish quality is amazing. The fish is delivered in small quantities twice a week, and it shows because the flavor is so fresh and good. The fish doesn’t taste fishy at all, just really good; I highly recommend the hamachi. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice and comfortable; there’s great lighting, a bar area, a sushi bar area, and two dining areas with booths. The staff is friendly and you can tell that the owner really cares about the quality and experience of the guests. The owner was telling me that he spent many years on the East Coast learning how to make sushi and has taken his knowledge to Green Bay to start this restaurant. I’m glad they did! I love this restaurant and I plan on coming back often!

Beautiful atmosphere! Waiter was super friendly! Sushi was the best we’ve had around. We will definitely be going back! They have a great menu with their own special rolls. Definitely a little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for.

Wonderful atmosphere, great cocktails! The tempura veggie appetizer was also really good. Had to take a star off the food however because when the dinner arrived mine and my husband’s vegetable sides were cooled/almost cold (albeit with great flavor), however this is a super minor detail we overlooked because everything else about our experience was stellar. Would definitely return!
