Holly molly, fabulous soups- chicken n rice, lentil, vegetable soups, potato with bacon, cheese and meatball soups, they have tasty breakfasts and I believe only a cocktail vodka bloody mary drink, mimosas, beer/wine bar counter. Nice portions of food were you can take home. Since I was hungry and my boyfriend had already eaten, we decided to share the 1/2 sandwich and their soup of the day-a bowl of chicken n rice, DELICIOUS! Wonderful, friendly, helpful waitresses with a smile, great customer service and outside seating-weather permitting. Right of of Fwy 99 and Main St., Turlock. Opens at 6:00 am and closes at 3 pm everyday-remember its a diner! With casual, nostalgic vibe, extensive comfort food menu (breakfast all day!), and unique layout with counters and booths
I would highly recommend my family, friends, and new comers. Enjoy!!!
1/20/26, 2/24 Update: If you are in the mood for some soothing hot soups, you gotta go to Hot Rods in Turlock. Please keep in mind, not sure what they are making for that day but so far all them tasted sooooo good! And don’t forget to bring a bowl to go home with.

Great place. From the time we walked in. To the time we left, great service, the food was great and cool atmosphere. We will definitely be comming back. If you haven’t been there, you should definitely make a point to go. It’s worth the trip. Some of the best customer service of most restaurants we have gone to. Thanks again!!!!

We stopped in here after a detour from Blackbear Turlock and were greeted right away with a smile. I really like the seat-yourself setup- super convenient. Service was quick and the whole staff seemed upbeat and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I usually go to the Ceres location since it’s closer to me (and just as good), but whenever I’m in Turlock, I’ll definitely be coming back

This place used to be a solid breakfast option. I can say this visit has changed my mind the three cheese omelet had a slice of super processed cheese product on top the kind that come in a plastic wrapper. It was an inedible omelet. Gave two stars bc my dining companion said his plate was good.

Plenty of indoor and outdoor dining with lots of parking. Classic and fun diner environment with friendly service. Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Depends on the day, The service can be a bit slow and I wouldn’t expect much in that department but the food was great! We had the turkey club which was super tasty and the corned beef hash breakfast which had small portions. Loved the sweet potatoe fries! The mimosas were served in an average glass and were average. Would recommend at least once to try!

We sat down, had to go find someone to take our order, someone came and took drink orders and then we waited and waited for a waitress who was not the drink order waitress to come take our order. The coffee was watery, the mimosas were hot and basically tasted like OJ. We waited so long for the food by the time we got it we were not hungry. All the glasses had something in them, were not cleaned well. Food was OK but not worth the wait. If you are going for atmosphere don’t be hungry. We were sadly disappointed.

I stopped by for breakfast with family on my way to a wedding in Chico. Food was great!!! Service was awesome too. I am so glad I found this place. Will definitely come again. Great menu selection.

So we were in town for a show and looked up a place to eat.
And we found this place online.
I liked the look of the place because of the old style diner.
And it reminded me of a Ma & Pop place . So we ordered our food . Select of food was good.
Service was good, server/waitress was very nice , food was good except the potatoes I ordered wuth my breakfast were a little greasy and needed to be cooked a little bit more. I didn’t talk to anybody about it. It wasn’t a big complaint. I did eat some of them. I enjoyed the atmosphere & vibe. The background music was a plus. Thank you.

Arrived with about a 30 min wait and decided to sit at the bar for faster service. Couldn’t decide on what to order and ended up going with the country fried steak! Delicious! Sitting at the bar I got to witness the chaos that comes along with the serving job, props to those girls and the cooks! They got my order mixed up with someone else’s but no big deal! They handled it perfectly. Every one of the staff members was on top of their game and always doing something. I will definitely be returning to try their lunch menu because the burgers looked delicious!
