It is important to note that they really don’t do substitutions or changes to their menu bowls, so keep that in mind when ordering.
Oh and the boba! Self service boba, you mix whatever teas you want together, add whatever toppings you’re feeling, and then you’re ready to go! Truly have never been to somewhere like this before coming here and I have come again multiple times!
Now let’s get into this. 10 out of 10! No questions asked. Plain and simple, dry and cut. Get your bowl, add you noodles, meats and veggies. At the counter select your broth and the spice levels. Let me tell you the flavors of these broths available you cannot go wrong with any. I have tried miso spicy and Taiwanese spicy both delicious!! Comes with a side of steam rice. And drinks, tea and boba available!
Give this place a try. You will not regret it!
Clean place, not so busy, and great ambiance.
This isn’t your grandma’s fondue; it’s a no-nonsense, build-it-yourself hot pot setup. You get to be the boss. You pick the soup base—spicy, rich, whatever—and then you load up your bowl with exactly the ingredients you want. It’s a proper, personalized feed, and frankly, it’s a welcome change from the usual takeout grind. The fact that you customize it from the ground up makes it a damn good, unique meal every time.
They’ve got a great selection of drinks too, and the prices are more than fair. You can wash down a hefty meal without paying a premium for a soda or iced tea.
Fair warning: this place is popular, so when the rush hits, the seating can get a little tight. But that’s just because the food is good and the value is unbeatable. You can deal with a crowd for a meal this customized and this easy on the wallet. Highly recommend it—go get your grub on.
There’s also a ticket you fill out with your order. You can add ingredients and choose your spice level. It seems they all come with noodles but not the same type of noodles. I’m not sure if you can swap them out.
Lastly, you can also opt to make your own bowl. There’s a buffet with options of ingredients and then they weigh your bowl at the end (like yogurtland) and charge you based on that.
All in all we were satisfied with our food.
I ordered takeout from this place, and it was a complete disaster. First, their soup was so hot that it melted the plastic lid, causing the soup to spill all over the bag. When I told them, they refused to take responsibility or offer any solution.
To make things worse, I ordered a hot pot, but because the soup had spilled, I basically ended up with a hot pot without any soup. And yet, they still wouldn’t admit their mistake or do anything about it. How does a restaurant mess up this badly and not even try to fix it? Absolutely unacceptable! If you don’t want to deal with poor quality food and terrible service, stay far away from this place!
