Brisket moist and tasty. Pork okay. Buns would have been better toasted. Fries tasty and cooked properly. Fast, cheerful service.

The food is really good! It could improve their recipes for the sides a little more to make it more like home cooked. We only bought sides but I want to go back for their BBQ. It smelled really good!! We bought Mac n cheese, baked beans, cornbread, banana pudding and baked pineapple.

We’ve been passing this place for years on the way to the shore. Finally stopped in for some BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich 6it was fantastic. My sister and her husband shared pit beef and pit ham sandwiches. They absolutely loved them. We also shared BBQ fries, cheese bacon fries and mozz sticks. Everything was delicious

Was wanting some bbq and have passed it many time so we decided to stop and try for the first time. Paid over $70 for four meals, one was a kids meal and another was a sandwich. Coleslaw was SOURED! Kids mini bbq and chicken tasted like lighter fluid. The ribs were over cooked. Mac n cheese would of been ok if the noodles were not way over cooked, they were mush. I don’t know what flavoring was in the collards but wasn’t what I thought tasted good. The homemade chips and fries were delicious! The nor Eastern hot sauce had a good flavor too. But we won’t be back.

The brisket was pretty good but my hush puppies were burnt. The A/C keeps it a tad cool inside. Cute decorations. Staff was apologetic when our order was wrong and had to be made again.

We drove past Hot Off The Coals and just the smell made us turn around and come back. We walked into a clean restaurant, and the service was excellent and quick.

Ate here for the first time today. My jerk chicken sandwich was good. The kettle chips served on the side were tasty. Some disgruntled fool tried “switch” his sandwich for something else cuz he wasn’t “feeling it” and when he was told “sorry, no”, he got loud with the woman behind the counter who didn’t back down from his aggression and gave it back to him. That earns them 5 stars and an extra tip in their jar. Well done, ma’am.

The brisket is just okay, in my opinion. Bland and under seasoned. I had the brisket sandwich. A bun and brisket slices. The cream of crab soup was really good, and that’s why I gave this place 4 stars.
