Great atmosphere. You have to order your food, take a number and fill your own drink. Seat yourself at any table and they will bring your food to you. I felt the for the price paid, the food and service was lacking.

JUST DO NOT GO!!! YES, IT’S THAT BAD.
This has been a stop for years on our way south!!! The sandwiches USED to be LOADED with meat and were absolutely delicious and the fries USED to be super hot & fresh.

We just dropped $50 on two lunches. One was the “special” Rachel sandwich, fries & sweet tea. The other, a pit beef sandwich, coleslaw & sweet tea. I asked for a sample of coleslaw, first. They charged thirty cents (yes, they really did). There was BARELY any meat on either sandwich, the fries were so soggy, onion container was empty and they were FAR FROM BUSY…

WE WILL NEVER BE BACK! BEYOND DISAPPOINTED!
Feels like we just got pickpocketed for $50.

Food was great. Not the best I’ve ever had but the sweet and spicy barbecue sauces were delicious. Beans were very good. Coleslaw could have been better. Pulled pork was tasty. Brisket was a little dry and not super flavorful but decent. The restaurant was very nice inside and the staff was amazing. So nice and helpful. Smiling faces, greeting new customers and thanking the frequent customers for coming in. Will definitely be going back!

Went there for lunch today.. ordered “pulled turkey” sandwich, fries and got a drink out the beverage container…
(1) If I wanted warm deli meat on a Kaiser roll and charged $16.. this would b the perfect place to go. (Wasn’t pulled turkey at all)
(2) Soda in the cooler was flat and out of date. (Didn’t realize it til I was down the road)
(3) Fries were decent (Hopefully they didn’t go to Thrashers and just reheat them)
Last time they get me for $21 bucks. Lol.

The person that helped me order was great and very helpful.
Brisket sandwich was ok. Meat was flavorful and tender. But served cold?
Collard greens were warm and quite good.
House spicy BBQ sauce was good.
House made chips were just ok.

Kinda mixed review. Some good some not.

Great Bbq. Everything felt and tasted house made including the sauce. The options we numerous, the meat was well cooked, moist, and spiced fantastically. There were so many sides to pick from I felt like I was missing out by not getting one of everything! The price was a little high, but for the quality I am fine with that.

Felt like the fries could be fried a little bit more – but I feel like we have found a new spot to top at every time we drive through.

They have Pepsi products!

Rustic atmosphere. Adorable decor. Clean and well lighted. Clean bathroom. Fresh, delicious food – I had half smoked chicken, baked beans & potato salad; hubby had pulled pork sandwich & fries. Would highly recommend to others!

The beef brisket was extremely dry and expensive at over $20 for how much you got. I even got the large and it was small. The fries would have been awesome if they didn’t have a ton of salt on them.

Traveling with a pickup truck and large trailer, I’m always looking for an eatery with sufficient parking. This restaurant has plenty of parking with easy return access to Rt 50. The inside is decorated nicely with common items associated with BBQ. I was in for lunch on a weekday around 1pm. The menu is located behind the counter, near the ceiling. Trying to read the menu is difficult due to the refrigerator on the counter with deserts, another large box holding drinks(?), covid era plexiglass hanging from the ceiling, etc. When i actually tried to order, the cashier leaned forward and said I needed to speak up because the plexiglass made it hard to hear. The fix for that is obvious! I ordered the brisket and ham as a two meat sampler, with sweet potato casserole and cold slaw. The brisket had a discernible smoke ring but was somewhat dry and not as flavorful as hoped. The ham was fine, sliced thin, and still warm from the grill. The sweet potato casserole was very good, just sweet enough and tasty. The cold slaw could have come from any bulk distributor, not remarkable in any way but okay. Overall, an okay experience. I will stop again when in the area to sample something else.

We’ve been passing this place for years on the way to the shore. Finally stopped in for some BBQ. I had the pulled pork sandwich 6it was fantastic. My sister and her husband shared pit beef and pit ham sandwiches. They absolutely loved them. We also shared BBQ fries, cheese bacon fries and mozz sticks. Everything was delicious
