First time ever eating at Hot Heads, went to the one in waverly and it was straight up fire. Way better than chipotle or moes. Dude working was chill, girl who made my food was nice and killed it. Will def be back.

I go here as often as I can justify splurging a little on lunch. They’re always welcoming, engaging and put real effort into making your meal exactly as ordered. I’ve never had one misorder with Hot Heads in Waverly in over a year and a half!!
I am always happy with the freshness of the good—specifically the veggies. Plus, if they’re running low, they fry more in the skillet right in front of the customer without skipping a beat or seeming burdened. I love this.

We showed up there after a long day of driving wanting a great burrito but we got there and they were out of lettuce, pico, guac and several other things including CO2 for their pop machine. We decided to try it anyway thinking it would still be good without those items but sadly no. The service was ok atleast they told us they were out of the items first but still the food was terrible and I’ll probably never go back. I don’t write reviews because everyone has bad days and sometimes you can’t help if your out of things but this was a little dramatic for me and reading the other reviews it seems this restaurant is out of a lot of items all the time. Sorry hot heads I won’t be coming back.

Visiting from out-of-state… last night (Saturday night) about 7pm there wasnt a vehicle in the parking lot. We thought it was strange no vehicles at that time on a Saturday, but we decided to try it today anyway. Arrived at about 6:30ish. Walked in and order two (2) steak power bowls, the employee said you can get with a differnt meat. He said we are out of steak right now, the truck has been in a while. So I ordered one (1) with chicken and one (1) with barbacoa. He starts to build the bowl, gives a large portion of the meats and rice. Get to the veggies and there was ONLY, maybe 6 pieces of the peppers and onions, so he was picking every little piece to put on the bowls. I asks him didnt he have anymore veggies and he said well I can cook some. I looked at him like…. I was thinking its dinner time and this is all you have and I have to asks for them. Well, I didnt have him cook anymore so we processed on, he puts cheddar cheese on them with some kind of sauce on top of it. He goes in the back and another boy comes out, I tell him that I’m pretty sure the bowls are supposed to have Monterey Jack cheese on them. He asks me which bowls I was getting and I tell him steak power bowls, he looks them up and sees that I am right and he tells the other boy that he put cheddar and it should have been Monterey Jack. He said she order a chicken bowl. I said oh no I didn’t, I ordered steak power bowls and you told me I could get them but I would need to choose a differnt meat because you were out. He says oh yeah. They never offered to fix them over and even if they did I would not get any veggies because they didnt have any cooked, he scaped the bottom of the barbacoa pan to fill that bowl. I told them I didnt want them and walked out. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL. Terrible service… help not knowledge of what goes on each bowl or just didnt care or possibly wasnt paying attention. Alot of things on the bar were out and they didnt have it cooked up and it was dinner time. Very unprepared. There was one family of 6 in the restaurant and didnt seem very busy at all. Now I understand why and why there wasnt anyone there on a Saturday at 7pm. I dont expect this restaurant to be open when we come back unless they make some changes.

Food is good, and staff is friendly but they need more people working during the lunch rush. Between dine in and online orders it is too busy. I waited over 20 minutes in line just to order. People left after waiting.

Love the 2 bowls for $6 on Sunday!!! When we go to the lake, we like to stop in and get the burrito bowls. They are always having new additions to the menu that are a little different and creative. Another thing that we like is the sauces that they offer, unlike Chipotle. They always seem to have many different coupons to drum up new business, but we already love it, so we definitely take advantage of the amazing discounts that they offer.

Food was so dry from sitting. When I first walked in the girl behind the counter greeted me and continued to do what she was doing. I sat there waiting on service for 5 minutes (watching the girl ). I finally said excuse me can someone wait on me. She yelled for someone in the back. I WILL NOT BE BACK!

This place it not worth the money. $13 for a burrito and all I got was a bunch of rice and about 2 teaspoons of meat. Between the rice and cheese there was no taste from the seriously underwhelming amount of meat. When I asked if that was all the meat they put on it the employee got nasty with me. She said that’s all we ever put on them, we have to make money. No thanks never again, and no I will not recommend this place. If anything I will deture people from wasting their money here.

The first time I ever tried it we ordered online, I got a chicken burrito only to go in to pick up our order and find out they were sadly out of chicken. But the past two times we’ve went we decided to fry cheddar cheese on the outside of our burritos and it was absolutely amazing! The place is always spotless, the staff is really nice and welcoming. The only thing I would improve would be the use of the mobile ordering; they need to update what is available and what is not. Other than that I think this is an amazing place to go to!

The time before last I ordered a quadadila an all they put on it was meat and solely nothing else. Didn’t know till I was home. I was there again today an the lady remade it for me an was kind and very apologetic e en tho it wasn’t her that made the other one. Didn’t charge me for it either. I appriciate that Ty so much !! Great food !!
