The worker who was there made the experience amazing! Valentine’s Day… I leave the gym and stop for a delicious steak power bowl. She gave me more meat and am overall fuller bowl than ive been given recently. Last time I was charged $2.20 for water. This time I think it was 50c or something fair. The restaurant was clean. The food was unbelievably delicious. Power bowls are a near perfect post workout meal!!!

Food is usually good. But today chicken was dark, dry, and firm like it had sat out a while. I got a bowl with less rice and I wanted an extra scoop of chicken. Was informed it’d be $3.25 more for the tiny scoop they use. Glad I passed on the extra chicken. Bowl was disappointing.

This location has been significantly been declining over the last year. Just ordered large burrito bowl that was a joke. wasn’t even enough to fill a small bowl, but yet charged me large bowl price. I don’t think employees know how to property make a bowl. I don’t know if management or proper employee training is the issue, but somethings got to give. Unit then, I wont be back. Its not worth spending the amount of money for what you get there. In the pic, you can clearly see around all the sides of the bowl and part of the bottom. Rip off to say the least!!!!!

As a business owner myself – I did every attempt to not leave a negative review. I contacted an employee, Facebook Messenger and email. No response or care. I visited Hot Head Burritos on Feb 7th at 1:00. I was hungry and I already eat fast… 3/4 through my bowl I noticed there was a strange texture/taste. Turned out my chicken was fully raw. 24 hours later, I developed an extreme fever and the sickness lasted 6 days. Salmonella is real, and it was an awful experience. Since nobody within the company cared, I feel obligated to share my experience so it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

1st and last time there. Ordered the #7, some Jalapeno spicy whatever. When the guy got to the jalapenos, I asked him if he could please dice the jalapenos before adding them. He replied “sure, jalapenos” (they were already supposed to be on the burrito) and threw a handful on the burrito without dicing them. Luckily, he threw them all on one side instead of spreading them out. Because the jalapenos were so salty (no idea how or why) that I had to pick them off. Only finished eating it because my brother bought it for me, and because I’m dirt poor. 1st time I ever ate a bad burrito. They’re virtually impossible to mess up.

This is in regards to the Waverly Ohio Hot Heads, great service, patient, and tried to make it right but our food was inedible, the rice was crunchy and server said it was towards the bottom of the container but another batch was just as bad, paid $30 for 2 people, disappointed to say the least.

When this place first opened it was booming. They have since changed there ways in service. Everything started having less portions on your meal. When you got double chicken it was like having only one serving. I got my hopes up yesterday because my meal was some how perfect the portion sizes were on point and my meal filled me up so much I couldn’t eat it all. It had more chicken then rice which is perfect. So I went back the next day cause I had a free small queso dip that they advertised on facebook. Below are the two pictures, one of the advertised small they they make you believe you’re getting and 2 the reality.
On top of this my burrito was folded wrong and everything came out of it because guess what the portions were all wrong. Not enough meat and too much rice.might as well had a rice burrito. Idk weather to keep going back or just screw this place all together because on top of all these problems your charge a pretty big amount for food here. You can walk out with 1 burrito and a drink and pay $13.00 so yeah. All I can say is Hot Heads in Portsmouth, OH, I gave you so many chances. Now fixed it.

(2) build your own nachos. Couldn’t eat half because so much grease. Chips became soggy and grease just soaking the bottom. Not worth the money. Won’t be back.
