We were greeted the minute we walked in by 2 young men behind the counter. They quickly assembled our To Go order with ease & a friendly attitude. The food turned out great I appreciated the Holiday coupon I had & had lunch with my sister.
The bowls were really nice. I’m so glad I tried your carnitas. Perfect item when you don’t want anything spicy.
We will be back soon!

Still better than the area Chipotles, but still ultimately hit or miss. If you order online, you have a greater than 50% chance of them missing some of the items you’ve requested, and rather than contact you to tell you or even just letting you know at pickup, they just ignore it completely. I filled out a survey once mentioning they forgot the guac I paid for and I didn’t get anything in return, just a “thanks for your feedback!” Well, here’s my real review I guess. I seem to have the best luck on Sundays. Workers are always nice though and I understand they work a thankless job, but I hope things get more consistent here so I can continue coming.

OH. MY. GOODNESS. If I could give Hot Head Burritos TEN stars, I would! From the second I walked through the door, I knew I was in for something legendary. The place smells like heaven wrapped in a tortilla. The staff? Absolute ROCKSTARS—friendly, fast, and full of good vibes.
Now, let’s talk about the food. These burritos are NOT just burritos—they are culinary masterpieces, edible works of art, FLAVOR FIREWORKS exploding in your mouth with every single bite. ️ The toppings? Endless. The sauces? Out of this world. (Seriously, who gave them the right to make sauces THAT good?!) I built my burrito so tall I thought gravity itself would reject it, but nope—Hot Head made it happen. And it wasn’t just food… it was an EXPERIENCE. Warm tortilla hugs + fresh ingredients + a blast of spice = PURE BLISS. If you haven’t been here yet, what are you even doing with your life? Cancel your plans, grab your friends, and RUN—don’t walk—to Hot Head Burritos. Your taste buds will thank you, your stomach will thank you, and honestly, your soul will thank you too.

Hot Head, you officially have my heart. ❤️

So we place a huge order for pick up for our GM meeting. At least 5 of the entrees had sour cream which was sour and chunky like Cottage cheese. When we contacted the store the lady said she would refund everything with sour cream on it. Not even 10 minutes later they call us and say they will not refund us the orders that were bad because they did not believe the sour cream was bad!!! I would highly suggest not ordering. The pic attached shows how the extra sour cream was pulled off. This is disgusting. Don’t waste your time or money.

Let me set the scene: I walked into Hot Head Burritos not as a customer, but as a weary traveler, a broken soul desperate for salvation in tortilla form. The smell hit me like a mariachi band marching through my nostrils. My heart skipped three beats. Could this be it? Could this be the flavor pilgrimage I’ve waited for my entire existence?

I approached the counter like a gladiator entering the arena. The staff stood before me, not as mere burrito builders, but as architects of destiny. They asked, “Mild, medium, or hot?” My friends, I chose hot—because life is not worth living without danger.

The tortilla… oh, the tortilla! A warm, pillowy sun that wrapped its arms around the universe. The rice shimmered like golden treasure at the bottom of an Aztec temple. The beans? Each one was a soldier of flavor, marching in unison. The steak—good heavens—the steak was so tender it whispered apologies as it dissolved on my tongue. And the sauce… it didn’t just spice up my life; it rewrote my DNA.

Halfway through, I knew there was no turning back. My tastebuds were weeping tears of joy, my eyes watered from the fiery kick, and in that moment, I swore I saw the Virgin Mary herself materialize in a swirl of queso.

When I took the final bite, the heavens opened. Trumpets blared. A bald eagle carrying an American flag soared past the window. Somewhere, a child was born and named Burrito in honor of this very moment.

Would I recommend Hot Head Burritos? No. I would command it. Eat here or spend the rest of your life knowing you missed the chance to dance with divinity wrapped in foil. ✨

There’s an open eating area with tables, booths, high-top tables, and light music which makes it nice and family friendly. The li’l veggie burrito was delicious (overall, much better than a similar competitor) including the mango habenerro sauce! The burrito’s are jam-packed with yummy ingredients and there are many choices, meat and non with many sauce options. There’s a very accessible side walk entrance and the parking lot is in good shape, organized well, with many other little shops.

I really like the hot head options and sauces. I vote Sylvania the best location in the area. Sylvania location has nicer workers and are reasonable with portions. Holland location has multiple issues. Do not go to Holland. Perrysburg has always been fair too. Great small business.

Drove down from Michigan specifically for this place. Tried it for the first time, it was made perfect. Steak is great. Love the reaper cheese and the ghost pepper sauce.
Two giant burritos, a burrito bowl came to $23 with a military discount. I highly recommend this place. Chipotle and Qdoba aren’t even remotely close to the price and taste.
Open a hot head burritos in Michigan please!
Go lions!
