I ordered a steak bowl here the other night for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was compared to similar establishments in the area. The portions were large and the service was top notch for a fast food business. I will recommend this place in the future.

To be honest this probably one of the worst hot heads I’ve been I actually eat at them quite often and figured I would give them a try while I was in town. I decided to buy 5 bowls for everyone I was with and they all complained how the food was cold.
None of the co-workers asked if I wanted it toasted and was rushing to cash me out before I was even done ordering.
I asked for extra sauce and got told that’s all they was able to put on the bowl?? I also asked for no salsa on one of them and it still got put on. The same went for one of the sauces I had ask them to not put it on there and they did.
It was actually very disappointing I was hyping hotheads up and then the opposite happened. Won’t ever be back to this location again.

The only thing “Hot” about Hot Head Burritos is the food poisoning it gave us.

The Newark hot head location is my go to for any burrito. Solid service and customer service. Everyone is very friendly. Every time I order and come to pick it up , it is always ready(even when I show up early). Zero complaints from me. Fast responses and 0 to little wait time. Food is always hot and taste well. Burritos are always packed and bowls are stuffed. Good stuff at this location. Also Kasondra is wonderful. Always helpful. Also the other workers are great just don’t know their names !

Order was perfect. Bowls were absolutely loaded to the brim. Friendly staff. Honestly puts chipotle to shame. Wish I could give a tip, but wasn’t given the option until I got to the drive thru, and I didn’t have any cash. This is my new go-to spot.

Just tried to call them twice no answer. I asked for a bowl with steak and chicken double meat and I got taco meat and chicken. I went to mix it up to try it anyways and there was a very long hair in it. I need a refund or something
Edit, they called me back offered to remake it I insisted on a refund but the manager wasn’t in. So they called me today apologized and sending out coupons . So no refund but maybe I’ll find another hotheads to use it at if possible. At least they tried I guess

I can’t believe they don’t have buffalo sauce anymore. That’s the WHOLE reason I loved them more than Chipotle. That and the banana peppers…. Food was ok. Not as good as it was before. I hadn’t been in a couple of years bc the last time I went they must have been out of buffalo sauce bc I asked for some on the side bc they skimped on my bowl and the cause I got was so hot I couldn’t eat it. I was pregnant and had awful heartburn as it was, that made it worse. Not so satisfied.

literally the best tacos i’ve ever tasted. chips were sooo salty but i love salty chips so i didn’t mind. queso was so good. the lady at the drive thru was so sweet too lol. 10/10 recommend
