Ooooooh let me tell you they have the best hush puppies in the land. I don’t really like hush puppies but when I got the Hot Grease hush puppies it made up for all the other ones had eaten that weren’t tasty. The fish was tasty and crispy. Everything looked clean, super clean. The service came with more than a smile. They were good people. Good to chitchat with and I will be going back for sure. Btw the chow chow is beyond fire. Will I sound crazy if I say I’ve dreamt about it lol

My first time going to an event to try this pop up business, and from the lovely scent of the food to the DELICIOUS taste of everything I had, I loved it. Their chow is flavorful with some sweetness and is refreshing for the palate. Fish was just right. Fries seasoned well. Sauce had me dancing in joy because of the fresh herb seasoning. I ate the OG plate and forgot to take a picture cuz I ate it all, and I tried their fish nuggets too, lol. Boiled peanuts! Loved the flavor!!!! Hush Puppies, Delicious!!!
Also they are humble kind people, easy to talk to, and provide good service. I plan to go to other Events to enjoy their food again.

I love to support all Businesses, but I am an honest person. $14 for a fish and fries plate did not sound bad til I was served with a small portion of fish which made it not worth the price. I felt like I got gypped for the price I payed. Fish was split into one half of a split .. I can’t even explain it right… smh I look at the plate the lady ask me was there something wrong…..I stated, is this all the FISH !? Fish look like two medium steak fries… see image below !!! Before buying ask how small the fish is or big ! This was a straight up scam ..
atmosphere was great because Great Park in Irvine is nice !!! My son loves fries, but he did not eat them because they were cold… hopefully this business pay attention to customers feed-back !

Just tried their Snapper fish nuggets for the first time and they were fried just right. Not too hard or too soft becuz it still had flavor!! The homemade tartar sauce and that tangy cabbage sauce thingy on the side made it better. Not a fan of thick fries but they made them just right that I ate them all. Next time I gotta try the fillets.Wishing Hot Grease much succe$$
