Although the chili was not as spicy as I would prefer, it was very good. The all beef hot dog option is a welcomed option. Sauerkraut was excellent also. It was worth the drive to have lunch there and the staff were great. Ample parking and clean restroom.

I hate to do this but man what a low mid tier hotdog experience. If you’re a fan of boiled weiners piled with near tasteless toppings so messy you can’t even eat it then this is the place for you. Since the discovery of fire and the invention of hot dog rollers there has been absolutely zero reason to boil hotdogs. I was hoping a place with hot dog in the name would do a better job at making one. Dude running the counter was obviously baked and I was a bit surprised he was able to make it through constructing the insulting excuse for a hotdog I found in my bag. The chili tasted like reconstituted cardboard crumbles and there was maybe four pieces of onion on the whole thing. I found at lest two of the fountain drink selections to be out of syrup before giving up and settling for a half flat Dr Pepper. I understand that mediocrity is the highest bar in most dining places these days but man this has to stop somewhere. Do better. I know you can.

Went in at 2:00PM on a Saturday after working a 6 hr shift, ordered a plain hotdog with light chili and mustard and a small sweet tea. Got charged $1.10 more than what I asked for because they seemed to think I didn’t want what I said. They never even made my drink so I left without it, I won’t be going back to Hot Dog Hut Gray anytime soon, they don’t really seem interested in what they make.

Awesome to have them open. We stopped in just a few minutes after closing and were welcomed like we were the first customers of the day. We offered to get our food to go and they made us feel so welcome we sat down and ate while having a conversation with the workers. Food was perfect and super tasty! Definitely stop by and try this place if you haven’t already.
