First time trying this place out in the 5 years I have lived here. It’s a bad day to be a napkin here, loads of toppings. I enjoy the coleslaw as a topping but could definitely just eat that as a side.
I’m really hoping that they will added shredded cheddar cheese in the future as an alternative option. Love the swag here. Cute outdoor area for family too.

The Hotdog Hut was a huge hit at our wedding in October! Their team was so easy to work with and was beyond accommodating to ensure we had exactly what we wanted on our big day! Our friends and family are still raving about our late night snack to this day! We had contacted the store on 12/26…. Someone hung up once they answered. No big deal. I thought they were busy. So I went ahead and placed an order online only to find out when my husband got there they closed at 5 instead of 7pm. I called around 4. This morning we called because the money was pending and we wanted our money back where we didn’t receive our food. They said they would fix the food or give cash back. We decided to take the food as it is our first time here. I have been wanting some good hot dogs with some good chili. They still had the online order to go by. I SPECIFICALLY PUT IN SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE IT. They made it right all except they left the CHIlI off . So much BS just to get a hot dog with CHILI. I ordered the meal of the Kingsport downtowner meal or whatever it’s called. It says they come with mustard, onions and CHILI….. I added mayo and slaw on mine and you my son got slaw and ketchup added. My son and I did not get the CHILI that originally comes on it a little disappointed. She offered to take my name and make them right. I declined. Worst time ever ordering….. I felt as she didn’t care and was huffy and puffy about it. I just wanted a good ole slaw dog with chili❤️

Scrolling through late night tiktok and this place popped up! Definitely a good hotdog place. They serve the classics. The chili is really good and they have good options for the kids. What really sold me was the prices of the food. One of the few places left alive that you spend less than 4$ for a hotdog which is awesome! Staff was real friendly and the merch they sell is amazing. Recommend this place, will definitely be eating there again.

Under new ownership, the family is committed to operating this local favorite in Kingsport for locals and travelers alike. We met the couple operating the hot dog hut when we stopped in and it was evident they are rooted in family and community. Serving everyone with a hello and smile. They have a fantastic menu with variety to suit any customer. Now an official stop on any roadtrip – we love the hot dog hut!!
