A good spot! Came in today for the first time and really enjoyed it. The owners are super nice and welcoming. The man came and checked on us after we got our food to see how it was going. The dog was cooked on the flattop and had a great flavor. Tots and fries are good too. A cute little place!!

Working in Jax beach today & was on the hunt for a hot dog stand for lunch. Typed hotdogs into Google maps & found them gem. Literally the juiciest hotdogs I have ever had. They have a great variety of hotdogs & other foods. Owner was the sweetest. Definitely would recommend & I will be coming back. Thank you Hotdog hut for such a pleasant experience.

I have been coming here for years…even when the original owners owned it. I never had issues with the food. But coming here lately….the restaurant is dirty….it needs to have a complete serious deep cleaning. It was embarrassing to come in the other day to bring new customers (my friends) for the first time and there were bugs on the floor and the lady behind the counter flipping and playing with her hair. I was embarrassed and we left. I would love to see a huge change for an icon beach restaurant.

I love little hole in the wall hot dog places and this is giving that vibe. They have fun combinations of toppings and different types of hot dogs offered. This last time I went I got a little hot dog sampler with three different types of topping combos. I love that they offer this because I like to try different things in one order.
Honestly they were a little above “ok” i think a lot of people would love them because they are a very standard hot dog but I like hot dogs that are a little less greasy. The flavor was ok, but the topping combos were so delicious!! I love that it’s close to the beach as well, it’s perfect for a beach day snack!
This place is definitely worth checking out!

Strolled in with sand in places sand shouldn’t be and left spiritually healed by The Gator Dog—a beautiful, spicy beast that bit back in the best way. The Hot Dog Hut doesn’t just serve hot dogs—they relish the experience.
The staff? Chill like they were born in flip-flops. The dogs? Snappier than a sunburn. I was halfway through The Gator Dog when I seriously considered putting it in my will.
If you’re not eating here after the beach, you’re missing the wiener of the day.
