Was in Oakboro with some friends and decided to try a restaurant that was new to us. Glad we did. This is a great local restaurant with a variety of food options including hotdogs, burgers, fish, chicken and bologna sandwiches to name a few. They also have great sides including fries and onion rings. Our group enjoyed fish sandwiches, hotdogs and fries. Also had some red slaw on the side and it was really good. After lunch, had some ice cream and a shake. Really nice staff, clean restaurant and indoor and outdoor dining options. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful down home, small town restaurant with a warm welcoming atmosphere, great customer service and delicious food made fresh! Not to mention the fact that they maintain a 100% health inspection rating! My favorite thing to eat is a the classic chili cheese dog with a side of steaming hot french fries and i always wash it down with a strawberry milkshake! It’s always a treat to eat at Hot Diggity Dog!

Came in for the first time today (drove from Thomasville just to try them on a recommendation) & had a great meal. I got a cheeseburger with mayo, grilled onions, tomato, lettuce, pickle, ketchup & mustard with a side of fries & drink. Wasn’t disappointed with the food/taste or time to get it done at all!! The owners came out to welcome me for coming all the way out & it shows that they care about their customers. Prices weren’t bad for what I got. Rising prices everywhere, but as a business owner myself I understand the increases happening. I will definitely be back & tell others about my experience. Thank you for the great experience!!

Been trying to limit my carbs lately and of course a grill is not the best place to go, but they have grilled chicken breast and they are happy to fix you up anything without a bun or bread. I had a Philly but no bread and it was excellent. The owners really care about the community and serving it quality consistently good food.

To begin, the burgers are greasy and tasteless and you can tell they have not changed the grease in some time. They burned the chicken tenders and the drinks were all flat. It’s a quiet place but that’s the only thing it has to offer. The prices are high for food that’s not flavorful at all.
