Wow! What a great place to grab a hot dog or burger! A very friendly place that has wonderful service. Home type decor with a lot of dog pictures and such (assume they are dog lovers). The menu is simple and straightforward. A variety of fixin’s for dogs as well as burgers. Excellence shakes too!

On our way to Grand Canyon West we stopped at Hot Diggety Dog for breakfast. It’s a place that has proper rustic roadside charm. We parked up and entered through the door the bells alerting the owner to our presence you enter straight in to the till/kitchen area and then into the dining area which has a ramshackle ensemble of 3 tables and furniture to sit at. The walls are adorned with all things Dog pictures & posters. We sat just under the TV and were presented with menus for breakfast. All good value priced I opted for “The Big Dog” and let me tell you its “BIG” served with pancakes first and then eggs sausage pate bacon hash brown and toast. Pancakes topped with cream and a banana. Others in the group had Steak & Eggs with Biscuits and Gravy and a superb massive stuffed omelette. Coffee was plentiful as our host filled our mugs. The prices are fantastically set and all four of us were just $66 for the best breakfast we have had on the road to date. This is a proper rustic venue far from the beaten tracks of Ihop or Denny’s but I can assure you that they are streets ahead for hospitality and food quality and portion size.
We even met the resident cow Rosie on our exit and we chatted about a few things prior to our departure. I felt like I didn’t need to eat for a week ha ha.

What a great spot to stop. Generous serving of great food in a fun and quirky environment. Sooo glad we stopped here. Highly recommend it

We were about half way there on our journey to the grand canyon, when, out of the blue, we spotted this place. Feeling peckish we decided to stop for lunch.
A hotdog, fries and a drink came to around 12 dollars, which has got to be the cheapest meal I’ve had on my trip to the USA so far! I have to mention the people serving too, they were absolutely delightful! While we were waiting for our food, the owner took us to the back of the area and showed us all the cows hanging out out back!
The cows were freely moving about and even came and hung out at the table with us!
The food was fantastic, one of the best hotdogs I’ve ever had. Fries were good too, well cooked and crispy. But the main event here was by far the hotdog and the whole experience they provided!
I’d highly recommend this place, 10/10.

Great little diner. The food was good and made to order. The fact that they had a veggie dog for my diet was impressive and delicious! Coke zero as well, for a low sugar diet.

This place is definitely worth visit. Two ladies cook delicious and make the best hotdogs we have ever had during our trip to the US. Atmosphere is great and they have a good collection of pictures of “hot dogs”. Our dog’s picture will soon be there, too. Thank you for that gorgeous moments we spent there.

Wow… The atmosphere feels like home, and Diana and Tammy were truly fantastic. I had the daily special (Salisbury steak), and it was fantastic! They are known for their hotdogs but have an outstanding breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu, too!

Great Service. Great quality of food! Premium hot dogs. Best part owner is from Chicago and we have to say there is nothing like Chicago style hot dogs. Very friendly and accommodating also. The dining area is clean and cozy also. We will be back.

1000000% worth the stop! Service was incredible. We were the only customers, so we had 2 waitresses to ourselves. Food came out fast and was amazing. Highly recommend the lemonade. Brownies were incredible for dessert. Everyone involved was incredibly kind and even introduced us to the roaming cattle on our way out. Took a week long trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon, and this restaurant will likely be the highlight of the whole thing. Definitely check it out if you’re passing through.
